i bought my first brushed electric cessna 182 4 weeks ago, it flew with no problems . then i stopped flying it for 3 weeks, tried to fly it today but it had some problems with the throttle. when i apply full throttle, all 3 servos (rudder, elevator, and ailerons) move at the same time. anyone got a solution for this?
@flyfalcon91 in main wings there are places with hard wood where you can attach strut using TP Head screws. on the fuselage you can find the similar place too
@alishanmao Yes i understand what you are saying about the TP head Screws but on the struts that i received they do not get flush with the fuselage. its hard to enplane like the ends of the struts dont flatten out its just a straight piece of wood i wish i could send you a pic of it for better understanding.
@flyfalcon91 oh lol I had the same problem but got easy fix. when you fix landing gears sometimes you are provided with a thin flat metal piece with two holes so you can put it on landing gear and put in two screws to tighten the gear rod in its place. use them at the end of each strut (2 for each strut) then you will have something to bend and fix it right. thats what I did.
ah... gear broke do to side loading. in a cross wind put a wing down into the wind and opposite rudder before you touch down, and get it on 1 wheel, level the wings then drop the noes gear. :) great video.
I want to change the prop on this plane because it's broken. There are letters on one side (8X6). Where do these letters must be facing? In front of the plane, or back to the tail???
China, Hunan, Zhuzhou city. But I left it behind and moved to better city. FLying place is great here and many RC Pilots come every weekend. Check out my Dalang Field videos, new flight videos at dalang.
Ah i see... how was your loop done though? did you come in at high speed and simply sharply pull up? is that how your wing snapped. because that WILL snap a wing... But as you say.. experience is the best teacher. I know i've done far worse on my avistar.. then again its not a cessna
Yes on cessnas or foamie big up wing planes you should not come in fast and pull up quick :D lol or drop fast to ground and try to pull up, thats where wings snap :D
Those were moves wont cause too much stress on the air frame. Its fully capable of all of that. It could just be the build but I've put my plane through much worse and the thing is almost a decade old. not a bad vid though.
thats SOOOOO true....the flying in its self is aerobatics i fly my hanger 9 ALFA all the time and boy its loads of fun....you can do pretty much anything with it it does so good in windy conditions....i've actually flown it in rain once( not recomended)
I forgot to mention my cessna was electric. I have learnt that I can do aerobatics I just need to be more careful and it wont end up in pieces! I have since bought another one off ebay and plan on getting some videos of it one day. Good flying skills! I like how you fly near the powerlines!
Yeah man. In that sense you are lucky. We are tired of flying around these poles n over the river. plus those damn annoying nosy people coming and touching our planes. Cheers
What type of sick random bastard just comes over and touches your plane? When I was little I even knew that you could look and enjoy the show but never touch. haha I guess that applies for other things too :P
Man, don't get me started. I am sick of those sick as people who even don't care bout running engine n high RPM Spinning prop on powerful engine. they just see plane, they leave the car in the middle of the road n run to touch it. They don't even care if their hands or legs will be chopped off. The other day one kid nearly got himself chopped by my friends nitro plane. I don't fly nitro planes so often now. Chinese people have no sense of other's privacy and no sense of safety too.
yeah. I have nothing against chinese people but that is stupid of them and those particular people should learn to be safe around potential threats. I cut myself with my electric cessna the other day and it really hurt; my arm bled heaps. This is what can happen if people have a lapse during crucial moments in the rc flight. Good luck with the hasslers and to many safe landings!
well said mate, very well said. :) it's the most challenging area to fly. My friends have crashed a number of planes on those electric poles n once crashed right in between those power lines :D LOL
that a parkflyre, where the PARK ??????
molallatrain3751 2 months ago
Nice...but, How about - "places a Rc cessna should not fly" - Power lines and on road with traffic? bad Idea... still nice plane and aerobatics.

With these models being as large as they are, why don't they just put a starter motor on to the engine?
