When Yahweh threatens that you'll have to eat your kids, that really helps my faith.

dont know if anyone can help me, im just a person looking for God,and dont konw where to begin, so many temptations so many errors i commit, i just cant see God being happy with me, i think he looks down at me and is dissapointed, im just a teen who is lost in this world, like when i read my bible i do not know what to read, or begin reading, i grew up in church, and well im trying to make a difference not only in my life, but in many other lifes, i just need to get me "RIGHT" firtst.... help?

@cruz5control Read the psalms a lot too, they are AWesome. They are easy to relate to and have helped me through some of the most confusing times. God Bless.

read psalms and proverbs at first. a good strategy is reading a chapter of psalms each day for a month since they are fairly short and there are 31 chapters. pray regularly, long descriptive prayers. pray for thanks, forgiveness, and spiritual help for you and others you know. try to pray at least 5 minutes a day, if not more. and find a church with other devout christians. if the old, hymnal churches arent for you, find a contemporary church with a live band and good sermons. God loves you :)

As soon as i get older i am going to get a tatoo of Philippians 4:13 i have it hangging up in my room God can do great things in your life and. I have felt the Holey Spirt go through me when i was saved. So when you tell me God is not real is like when you tell me that oxygen is not real.

Philippians 4;13 is a great verse "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me"

@LilC3258 Yeah, that's nice and all. But there's a big difference between oxygen and god though. You see my uneducated friend. Oxygen, although invisible, is actually proven to exist. Unlike that silly thing you believe in.

@cimi93x once you have had an experience with God and that is like meeting a friend, you can actually feel He is there. Oxygen you will never feel; no matter how hard you try. Another thing; you will never get to know God by education. I would rather be uneducated as Peter, James, John and the rest of the disciples were. They knew who God was and even now that they have gone on their testimony lives on.......
