@tylersmmith07, Wow a lame attempt at Jr bashing. Its ok. 2004 was a terrible year for him. He only won the Daytona 500, won 6 races, and only finished 5th in points. He sucks.
The only thing I hate about Nascar TV coverage is when its the last lap or so and a wreck happens, and they don't show the leaders! All they do is show the wreck, even if its nothing special. It really pisses me off. One day the lead will change and they'll say, "oh and while the wreck happened, so and so took the lead and won!". I mean, seriously, they can wait and show the damn replay of the wreck. In the moment, please show the race for the win. This was a perfect example.
Man. It would've been great if Terry Labonte won. Up there leading late and getting shuffled out. I really wanted to see him get a rare win. Though in the end Dale Jarrett winning wasn't that bad.
Too bad all the old veterans have retired or patially retired. Like: Rudd, Jarrett, Labonte, Elliott, Rusty, Waltrip, Ervin, etc. Out of all of em Mark Martin is the only one left that's if you count Micheal Waltrip and Jeff Gordon. They've been around awhile too.
The racing was pretty good in this race, much better than in the 500 a week later.
It stinks that winning a pole means nothing in NASCAR anymore, and that guys like Menard, Stewart, Newman, Elliott, all got screwed out of 2009 Shootout spots.
man i miss ol BP's voice...

is it me or it looks like Dale Jarret has more fans than Jr.?

@Axel7043 All the Jr fans must have thought the 88 was on the tail end of the lead lap.

DsturbedFan728 1 year ago
@DsturbedFan728, he almost had the Daytona sweep in 2008, but finished 9th in the 500.

its kinda ironic. Look at the finish and Harvick beats Martin by a nose..... foreshadowing is a bitch eh?

Hmm I wonder why Dale Jr. didn't pass DJ? at 5:26 he had a great run to pass at 5:29 he checked up and ryan newman turned left & right crashed

to make it more interesting they should reverse the lap numbers. 50 in the first segment and 20 in the last segment
