If you're cramping you're probably dehydrated and should try to drink more water before, during and after working out. Also maybe do a cardio video first to warm your muscles up before you do the pilates.

It's like that with any excercise. When you excercise, your muscles rip, then form new muscle tissue. Your body isn't used to that kind of excercise. The soreness is good, but you have to let your muscles rest from time to time. Nice job.

I'm a beginner and this workout was perfect! Definitely something that I'll look forward to doing on a regular basis. It's easy to follow along, but you can totally feel the burn too, so you know it's working. Quick as well, which is perfect as I'm a student and don't have the time or money to go to a gym. you can do it on your carpet , or if you want to actually use something maybe a towel? i have the mat and barely use it lol. but good luck , this excersise looks great.

i guess it is almost the same, right? In reality, they only ask you to use a matress so that you don't notice the hard floor while you're doing the exercices, so I suppose it doesn't matter wheather you use a matress or a carpet

@fourcornerss Pilates in general is safe to do daily since it doesn't work the muscles to fatigue like traditional strength training does.

Yes, if your legs are mostly fat. but if they're just muscly then you're naturally curvy and there's not a lot you can do about that.
