Segregation increases ignorance which builds fear which results in discrimination. How are those towards the homosexual end of the spectrum so different from those near the heterosexual end that you even consider something so silly and what about those who are nearer the middle?

I know things are appearing to look up for us, but ask all the gays and lesbians getting married now in California whether or not they are filing joint tax returns this year. The answer is no becausen the government we pay taxes to won't recognize these couples.

Why not? I can't see a reason, until of course homosexuals are given equal rights in the USA. It's pretty weird - the USA has the whole "liberty" thing going on but, in terms of actual rights, it's the most restrictive country on Earth. A homosexual country would be sooo much fun!
