The crash was not due to mechanical malfunction of the plane. It was due to poor weather + human errors!

@jojontheboy This is clearly human error, this is runway overshooting. Chinese airlines got better safety record and ratio than most american airlines. Indonesian airlines got the poorest safety record in the world, most Indonesian airlines are banned from flying into JAA (European Joint Aviation Authority)'s air space.

i won't fly any airlines that operates MA 60. period. 40+ aircrafts operating and already 3 crashes. and when was this plane roll out? too new to have too many mistakes.

you can't blame the aircraft for over/under shooting the run way or running into living creature during take off. But you can give kudos to it for protecting its passangers so well.

@UD2 u know where i live, if u crash ur car because ur car had speed up by itself, u can sue the car company. (note: Toyota recalled millions of cars because of unintended acceleration). Also, if u buy a car and there's a defect that broke more than 3 times even repaired by that car manufacturer, car company have to buy back that car. (It is called "LEMON LAW"). My question for you is, "Are you drive your car, not into ditch but underneath a BIG TRUCK or a Train, so you can kill yourself?".

@alongthebluff Just another MA60 went down in Indonesia killing all 27 on board yesterday. I don't want to speculate but I couldn't find any reasonable causes of all 5 accidents so far. Some blame weather, wind, pilot, difficult airport, yet still why only MA60s had accidents? If weather is bad, wind is strong then it should affect all types of aircrafts. I know there're more ATRs & Dash8 flying with Asian regional airlines than MA 60 & they have no problem? hope they'll find out this time.

I was just there at cataclan airport

I flew that same type of MA-80

it made a very short stop after landing

but over shots can happen due to short

runway but that airplane is designed

for rugged road

MA60 Is a great aircraft .This can happen to any aircraft due to bad wether and short runways

@karedward brand new ma60 yan from china. ung sinasabi mo na lumang aircraft form asian spirit its dhc-7 not Q3, nandun sa hangar nla nakatambak. its also a new airline, inabsorb lng ung ibang employees. ung aircraft na akala mo pinalitan lng ng name four engines un eto 2 lng. watch other videos ng asian spirit u can see na 4 engine un. its an entirely different plane. this one is brand new

there are no cross winds there. north-south winds dont exists there unless its a typhoon and there was no wind at the time.
