I would hate to be your neighbor then. I'm not an old fogey myself but I'm a working musician and I also repair guitars. This requires me to be able to hear what I'm working on and be free of the frequent roaming disturbances I get near my home. Why should not be able to work out of my own home just because someone spent a lot of money on a sound system? Passing cars have ruined perfectly good tracks as they vibrate everything in the house. Even passing trains don't bother my music like that.
