Mac has a UNIX core that, if you know how to use it, will allow you to do huge things with your computer.
What Apple did here was that it took the original (awesome) UNIX core, and just added a (awesome) GUI. Yes, I agree, there are some people who take it just because they don't know anything about computers, but, as I said before, if you know how to use it, Mac will seem much more awesome.
I call bullshit. No offense, but "Macs can game" is like saying "I can squelch the tires on my 89 civic". No offense to macs, but they are not yet a robust gaming platform. Sure, they're CAPABLE of it, but there are hardly any games on it. So unless you want to play WoW, you're fucked in that department. I have a Macbook Pro- I've do all of my video stuff using Final Cut. I have more precision using it than the Windows movie maker on pc. No problems. This is the best computer i've ever had. =)
I have tested both I have a mac laptop and a pc and I kinda have to say i like my PC better. I mean it has better graphics on games more games. It has Microsoft office and it dosen't cost like 70 bucks like mac stuff does. But thats my opinion think whatever you want. :D

Movie maker is TERRIBLE!!! SOO BAD! It has support for only one video file type, and if it has too many files in it, it will freeze and you will lose everything. It has happened to me countless times and on multiple computers.

LOL, Buddy do the calculations, macs are not expensive at all. Find an all-in-one with even remotely close specs to the iMac, and u end up with a PC that does not exist, and if it did, it would be much more expensive. Also, find a 13.3 inch notebook with a 2.53 Ghz processor and DDR3 RAM. Also note the far superior software on the mac side. You DO get more value out of a mac than a PC.

Mac has a UNIX core that, if you know how to use it, will allow you to do huge things with your computer.
What Apple did here was that it took the original (awesome) UNIX core, and just added a (awesome) GUI. Yes, I agree, there are some people who take it just because they don't know anything about computers, but, as I said before, if you know how to use it, Mac will seem much more awesome.

I call bullshit. No offense, but "Macs can game" is like saying "I can squelch the tires on my 89 civic". No offense to macs, but they are not yet a robust gaming platform. Sure, they're CAPABLE of it, but there are hardly any games on it. So unless you want to play WoW, you're fucked in that department. Even if there WERE lots of games for Mac, it'd cost a fucking fortune to buy a mac that's as good as my gaming PC that cost me $600 TOPS to build.

I have a Macbook Pro- I've do all of my video stuff using Final Cut. I have more precision using it than the Windows movie maker on pc. No problems. This is the best computer i've ever had. =)

I have tested both I have a mac laptop and a pc and I kinda have to say i like my PC better. I mean it has better graphics on games more games. It has Microsoft office and it dosen't cost like 70 bucks like mac stuff does. But thats my opinion think whatever you want. :D

Movie maker is TERRIBLE!!! SOO BAD! It has support for only one video file type, and if it has too many files in it, it will freeze and you will lose everything. It has happened to me countless times and on multiple computers.

Uhh listen dipshit. First off, I do NOT suck at computers. Second, movie maker can only handle so many files, too many make it crash. That not bias, that's fact. Third, Macs are NOT marked up at all. Compare any of their products (with specs) to another computer and they're about the same. (lots of youtube vids on this). And mac hardware is made by mac asshole.

Heh, I think you do. Otherwise you wouldn't say some of stuff you did. BTW I do believe Intel makes the CPUs... not Apple. Also Apple Branded HDs and Ram are Samsung re-branded. Nvidia makes the GPU and some other company makes the card for re branding. Im also willing to be the Mobo is a rebranded Intel but this i could be wrong about.

its understandable if you don't believe me but I am serious. My dad has a PHD in Plasma physics and several types of Engineering. He used to work it apple in san fran (we now live in Vancouver soon to be moving to Copenhagen Denmark...) I have used sevral of there computers and they were fun to use and fine but still i always got a PC instead because it can do what a mac can do and more... And apple are assholes they expect you to be in the office 24/7 and they pay shit he works for Nokia now.

Noteworthy Composer- Classic music composer all the mac equivalents cost hundreds and are very hard to use!
Games- There fun mac has shit games Deal with it!

Mac is basically (i forget the abbriviation) like Toshiba, Acer, HP etc. In that they have made their own hardware for a specific OS and sold it under their name. You can't compare a factory built machine to a custom PC. Chris Pirrillo has a vid on this and you should watch it. It's like comparing a custom made car to factory made. Except no one does that.

LOL, Buddy do the calculations, macs are not expensive at all. Find an all-in-one with even remotely close specs to the iMac, and u end up with a PC that does not exist, and if it did, it would be much more expensive. Also, find a 13.3 inch notebook with a 2.53 Ghz processor and DDR3 RAM. Also note the far superior software on the mac side. You DO get more value out of a mac than a PC.
