There were more than 80 bills for civil rights such as against lynching, for Blacks to get the vote, & sit on juries & crimes recognized against them as such. Nearly all of them were authored and spear-headed by Republicans. Many of them including the anti-lynching laws were blocked by Democrat fillibusters in the US Senate as the Democrats were aligned w/the KKK, not Repubs.

You know, I agree with you even though you stated your feelings a lot more colorfully than I would have. I am a AA man and I realize that most of the upheaval that is happening is due to the sincere concern for what's happening to our nation. The president isn't making small mistakes here and there.
