Dear Pman1018,
Billy was still having hair at the very early beginning of the Mellon Collie Tour, I saw the band at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium back in August 1995, he was already wearing the famous Zero * t-shirt....and red pants instead of the usual shiny silver ones. Yes it's true, it's true ! :-)

Billy Corgan (who I think is a poet as well as a musician) has been bald ever since the "Mellon Collie" tour from which this performance was shot!

@pman1018 When he recorde Mellon Collie, he still had hair, since it was thinning out, he went bald.
