@Gemsouth Yeah Warner Brothers wanted him to slow down on releasing music, Prince pretty much released an album every year, they wanted him to release every 3 yrs. The sad thing is after Prince dies Warner Brothers will makes millions off him, he had to give them 300 unreleased songs to break that contract and get his name back.
@aaronk319 u r totally right...but lets be real...he signed the contract..those dollar signs was as brilliant as the northern star and he signed his life away and then had buyers remorse and started this crusade of denial that warner bros was the real bad guy..they are a business,HELLOOO...HE messed up....and whomever he had as legal counsel at the time, IF he had representation, should be ashamed of themselves..but oh well...we live and we learn...still luv the dude forever.....:o)
