The NAHL takes whatever they can get when it comes to officials, refs receive low pay, and not much advancement. Dont expect grade A officiating.

Secondly the NAHL is a league that is self described as one that is strictly focused on developing junior players.They dont promote any style of hockey, the individual players dictate the style. And to judge the league on one video is quite unfair. Owatonna of the NAHL had 2 fights in their 58 games this season, far from goon league standards.

you do not have a clue what youre talking about. most of the nahl refs are refs in ushl. and all of them are officials whom were discovered because of their talents and looking for advancement

u must be trippin cuz those fights took no more than 10 seconds to start. in canada your refs are shit for jrs if they break it up b4 they start. NHL fights take longer to start that these did fuckin plug

Why are you talking about how the refs loosing control is bad for hockey, yet you reference Slapshot as a standard for good hockey?

Canadian junior leagues are far more out of control than this, all the brawls between Everett and Spokane/Seattle and Portland/Saskatoon and Regina are way more out of hand than anything that has happened in the NAHL.
