This movie and this character are the reason I'm still quite terrified of clowns but still...some of the lines Pennywise (aka Tim Curry) utters in the film are quite funny "Kiss me Fat Boy" "Do you have prince albert in a can" etc. In fact the same could be said for many horror icons...they always have something funny to say before they do something horrific.
