The more correct translation would be :

"Quel était le nom de la chanson au début/au départ ?" (or "Quel est le nom ...") and "Je n'arrive pas à me rappeler du nom" (your translation "Je ne peux pas me rappeler" is good too, but would seems odds in french, that would be like someone is preventing you from remembering it)
