Oh yeah, it's not always easy to brush off an unkind word, especially after some considerable wounds from family members that have left me more sensitive to things I would otherwise not be, but yeah I've pretty much managed to blow stuff off after awhile. I don't do it for money mate, it's just my hobby. The autoplay and banners you get for being a partner are of more use than anything else. And as for the money, it's highly unlikely I'd see any from my videos in this lifetime at the rate they pay. But I do get tired of everyone accusing me and others of becoming partners in order to make money. I do this for my own reasons, mainly that I enjoy it and I enjoy the people I meet here including you.

I've no idea what the groups are like. I don't make enough videos and such to join one, & I prefer not to join a group unless I'm going to be quite active in it.

You DO share a lot of vids, most of which I don't watch, but I DO save them just in case I want to watch later. My main interests here on YT are vids that further my knowledge of the world & the way things are. I also pay a lot of attention to vids from the Atheist community, & I like hearing people's opinions on all sorts of issues.

I don't have time for all your videos, but I don't understand why people complain about something that's voluntary, including YouTube! I've contacted them several times about my channel and received quick helpful replies. The only 'bitch' I'd like fixed but haven't been able to is the messages and groups that are homophobic or other types of 'hater'. I've written about it and I 'mark as spam' so many I worry about my membership. That's my two bob's worth!

YouTube makes at the end what the company wants. We're only something like as guests in a hotel and you can't make it fine to everyone. I am happy it is for free and so I don't complain too much. For some people is free not cheap enough.

Most people forget we're just guests here and YouTube is a company and not our family. But still too many people thing it is the family - that's why the complaining people don't leave to another better website (and there are better services but we stay here).

I have to agree with many of your points.

I personally dont get that involved with any of the major YT's, on some occassions that I have it has ended up in tubers' carryin' on about nothing much at all. It can all get a bit too much like the school playground. Great idea about YT rep's for gatherings; never been to one.

I've tried to suggest solutions to YT, no reply. their phone mailbox is always full, Google won't handle YT issues. I had a pedophile file a false DMCA against all of my videos, i reported this to Yt and they have done nothing. now this pedo is stalking me.

YT has not made it easy to contact them. they say in community guidelines not to post porn, yet all the vids I flag for porn remain.

I've just given up, evidently I'll have to hire a lawyer =(

These sorts of disputes shouldn't have started on YT but instead you shuld have reported your suspicions directly to the Authorities and let them handle it from there - this includes the stalking. As for porn on the site, yes, I've flagged many instances myself and in the end wrote via the reports form and have had some limited success. THe thing is as quickly as one is downed, another two pop up. Keep up the good fight!

I used to live in the county..I'm considering going there and using my friends address to report to sheriff's department. My local police are highly allergic to paperwork,ink and computers LOL!
