Although I liked this episode, apparently the Rev. W Awdry had an argument over it with Britt Allcroft mainly because in real life, a railway wouldn't be built that close to a forest since it might catch on fire from sparks and cinders coming from an engine. As you can see, the Rev. looked for realism in the series, something which the show has a tiny bit left since Magic Railroad and Christopher Awdry has still kept in the Railway series books.

Considering it's the first TTTE episode not based on a RWS story, I liked this when I was about 4.
