  • No you will not get arrested but it gives the TSA a good reason to molest you for 20 min or so. SO yea. carry one and enjoy the gropping :P

  • now that its been marketed as a weapon most govt agencies around the world will consider them weapons. carrying a concealed weapon in an airport or onto a plane? really fucking bad idea. i bet wannabe heroes trying to carry weapons onto planes is a bigger problem than terrorism itself. i feel more threatened by customs anyway.

  • can my kid bring one of these to school?

  • lmfao!!!! ive had metal pens before bought from the store. pretty sure it would infact go into bone. people dont waste your money!

  • A stabbing weapon for defence?! "Defence" my ass. You can bring a small riot shield with you on a plane, though, why not to try taking that with you ? :P

  • i thought concealed weapons are illegal...

  • fucking hell people :/

i think this is a way for people who are not religious crazies to defend themselves against those who are not the other way around.

  • Now only if somebody will design a weapon my plan will be a success!!!

  • Kind of a dumb way to advertise a defense pen, but to all the people saying this is designing weapons for terrorists.. come on people. Do you really think if somebody was determined to down a plane they would just be sitting at home saying "Now if only somebody would design a weapon that looks like a pen my plan will be a success!". If somebody is seriously thinking about hijacking a plane, they probably put a bit more thought into it than this. Lots of things get by tsa that can be weapons.

  • @TrippyGSR you forgot the MUWAHAHAHA part. or the ringleader going "Good. Goooood."

  • @TrippyGSR "hijacking a plane, they probably put a bit more thought into it than this."

Well they succeed by using box cutters. You can stab someone in the throat with one of these tactical pens and kill them just the same. It may take more than one stab. It's less likely to work NOW, because people on the airline will fight back rather than die for sure. But prior to 9/11, they were trained to back down, especially after one of the stewardess got her throat cut w/a box cutter.

  • @098firechicken Yeah, and You could stab somebody in the throat with a pen, pencil, key, etc. Almost anything can be used as a weapon. The point is thinking that defense pens are making terrorism easier is kind of dumb. Theres probably more than one part on the laptop im using that could be fairly easily utilized as a weapon lol.

  • Defense pens are a great idea. I also take a AA minimag flashlight on airplane trips as a Kubuton alternative. With a short lanyard, you can also use it for a weighted flip striking device that really does hurt ;>)

  • Clever.. inventing weapons for terrorists.. SMAAAART

    (KNOW THAT YOU HAVE PROTECTION)

What about stop eating MCfood all day long you fat bastard and learn some martial arts if youre that fucking paranoid.. fuck sake man grow a pair and learn to throw a fist instead

  • @Fisker770 LoL weapons for terrorists...lol man... there are no terrorists out to get you, just a bunch of Feds in turbans.

  • @bukakkesake

The point is they're the ones who want to have weapons on planes, and this gives them more access. We shouldn't be designing weapons to sneak past security because it will probably only help aggressors. Besides, most planes have air marshalls now.

  • @Grungadin On the contrary if airport security decides to let another underwear bomber through because another "well dressed man who showed them ID" told them too you might need need something like this to subdue the guy. Nothing rams through a bill like a body count.

  • Why the fuck wouldn't this get confiscated? And who needs a a weapon on a plane anyways. "oh, herp derp, da tarorists, we need somtin to stop dem tarorists on dem planes, next 911, herpa deerp."

  • I use the Pilot F-402. It's heavy and mostly metal except for a small plastic section but the tip is metal. It WILL go between ribs into the heart or lungs. It will do the eye and it WILL do the medulla and the temples. All my credit cards have been shaved down on the bottom, corner and halfway up the sides. Good for cutting throats as it they will sharpen that sharp. My belt has a knife in it and it is not detected by the xray machine or back scattter box! It also has the hidden money stash and

  • @rolloverriderpgr And I also have a very effective handcuff jimmy and it also works on handcuff tie wraps, of course in the middle of the belt where the hands will be cuffed. My wallet has several thin sheets of aluminum to protect from RIDF scanners. Yeah I could pay way to much for the stainless steel wallets but why? My backup watch has the woven band made from 1/8" nylon rope not good for much but tying bad guys up or making shelter. All of this will pass through a useless TSA check point!

  • @rolloverriderpgr FYI: The handcuff jimmy is used by sliding it between the teeth and the cam allowing the cuff to open. It's a lot easier that trying to unlock it with a metal pick. It works the same way on tie wraps. Slide it between the strap and the teeth on the strap. You MUST follow the strap in the direction of the tip/working end of the tie wrap for it to work.Practice! Of course you still have your hands, knees and elbows. NEVER KICK unless you have a colored belt from a master!

  • The Mil-Tac Pen is a wonderfully balanced, super sharp pen that could easily penetrate bone. A standard ballpoint pen could put out an eye but likely would not penetrate like this tactical pen/weapon. FYI, the pen is worth the money, but only if you truly want a self defense tool you can carry in your breast pocket.

  • @jbeath which was my point, TSA will ban this Mil-Tac pen. They're just not up to date on it at the moment. I'd rather have a 3" pocket knife that's legal in most places. But if you were to told TSA at the security gate that you have a "TACTICAL PEN" designed to be a piercing weapon, no way in hell would they let you take that as carry-on. And if you didn't inform TSA & they figure it out, guess what...say hello to Mr. Flashlight up your butt for the next few hours.

  • Am I missing something? It is a pen right, what's so special? I carry a "normal" ball pen with me, I can write if I need to and if you come to close & try to attack me I will stick it in your eye.

And yes, I can also carry it on a plane..... cause it is a PEN & I bet a lot cheaper than this

  • if you get stopped by the police in america and you have a knife in your pocket whats the prison sentence you could get .Because in enland you could get up to 3 years .Because the police and the criminal justice department have really clamped down in enland now .If you get caught with a gun even thou if its a replica gun .You could get upto 5 years

  • @TheOgo1971 each state is different. in oklahoma, my home state, i could carry my 11 in knife( six inch blade, 5 inch bear antler handle) in its sheath on my belt into any store, gas station, etc. any blade over 6 inches( blade itself) you couldnt carry on you. america isnt real hard on knives. the only way you will get prison time for it is if the cop asks if you have a blade on you before he searches you and you lie and tell him no.

  • @TheOgo1971 Depends on where in the country you are. Some states don't care if you have a knife or not, others have limits on blade size, which no one is really likely to check.

Must suck for people who need a knife to do their job.

  • @mrs2691 thanks for the reply ..my mates a chef who carrys his chefs knives to work everyday .There wrapped up but the police tried to charge him with carrying offensive weapons..it got to court and the judge threw the charges out of court calling the arresting officer a waste of time and tax payers money..

  • DON'T LET THE TERRORISTs GET A HOLD OF THAT!!!

  • Also that little tray on the back of the seat, snap that in half diagonally and you have two massive daggers.

  • Comment removed

  • that'll teach you not to bring a pen to a gunfight

  • I cant believe Im the first to write this but.......the pen truly is mightier than the sword.

  • TSA probably don't know about it yet because this can be a lethal weapon. Sooner or later it's going to be on the ban list.

  • @098firechicken Their method is more likely to be "BAN ALL PENS".

  • The point of aircraft security is NO ONE has a weapon on a plane. If you can get it on board, a hijacker could also.

  • @MrDeepwoodtickles Well put...

  • why is it necessary to have a weapon on the airplane in the first place?

  • @ryanalldread The next 9/11 type situation might turn out a little different. They pull their razorblade knives, WE pull our ink pens, then it's "Oh Allah please save us..."

Let us introduce you boys to a good ole redneck stompin'....

  • @Comanche1100 If security do their job they wont have razorblade knives, or bombs etc,but you rednecks are so pissy about body scanners and the fact that someone might see you have a tiny wiener and two cherrypips for balls that you resist the one thing that could gaurantee your safety.

  • @MrDeepwoodtickles Naaaa, I wouldn't give a shit if we all had to fly naked, I got over havin a tiny wiener years ago. To tell the truth , security is a myth...sooner or later someone will get something through...the only thing that will make us marginally safer, is to be awake, aware, and armed as much as possible...there IS no "gaurantee"(snicker)of safety...never has been, never will be.

  • just have one of those plastic knives. the extremely hard and sharp ones

  • shaky ass pen dude

  • a regular pen isnt sturdy enough to burst an eyeball or destroy an eyesocket after you thrust it into one

  • TSA wont do shit.

  • No, you do not get arrested. If that were true they would not allow anyone to have ball point pens.

  • AND WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TSA FIND THIS ON YOU? YOU GET IMMEDIATELY ARRESTED BASICALLY -- CAUSING FOR AN EXTREMELY DRAMATIC SITUATION

  • @gnarlywreckagedude Its a pen, a ball point pen....

  • and now you, too, can feel safe knowing depraved extremists with access to the internet have watched the very same video you just watched. god bless america...yeehaw!"

  • It's almost like a kubon. Really cool stuff

  • Funny thing about airport security changes is that the new plastic knives are sharper then the old ones :-) (so we wouldn't complain)

  • WHAT NEXT? A NECKLACE THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE USED TO STRANGLE A UNSUSPECTING TERRORIST?

Crazy Americans...turning every house hold object into a new weapon of mass writing destruction...1st they created the Atom bomb, then...they Get a normal pen, and stab the fuck out of each other..and then Re Market the pen as a ''self defense'' weapon..yeehaaa cowboy

  • @tojezredz And what country are you from where miracuously no violent crimes perpetrated by one human against another???

  • @tojezredz No, we aren't stabbing each other with pens, dipstick...we use firearms on each other, like God intended...and we invented a LOT of weapons before the A bomb....we have to invent stuff like this when we fly with YOU yahoos ,cause they won't let us have our guns on the aircraft, and yall take advantage of that. That necklace idea has possibilities tho...

    Yippie-ki-yea, motherfucker...

  • WOOOOOOOW A PEN! A POINTY ENDED PEN, NEVER SEEN A PEN THAT COULD STAB BEFORE! IM SOO EXCITED ABOUT A PEN, WOOOW I CAN EVEN SCREW THE LID ON THE OTHER END OF THE PEN, JEEZE THATS SOOO GREAT..WHO WOULDA THOUGHT YOU COULD USE A PEN TO STAB PEOPLE WITH MID FLIGHT?

I CAN SEE MYSELF, SAT ON THE PLANE, GOING ABOUT MY BUISNESS, WRITING LETTERS AND STUFF,, AND BOOM, THE DRINKS LADY COMES BY, BUT SHE HAS A BEARD? I SUSPECT SHE IS A TERROIST...SO I STAB HER IN HER MANLY NECK.....WITH MY BIRO.

  • @tojezredz you cant stab someone with just any pen. you need one thats reenforced. regular pens wouldnt last beyond the first thrust.

  • or u can stab some one with a regular pen

  • @UNDEADcountry Too true, Dude...I caught one between the shoulder blades, and one in the leg when I was in school. But these bad boys look like they will hold up better than a plastic pilot pen....

  • So it's just a pen that u stab people with? Just a normal pen

  • This is excellent, I often board a plane worried that if the south rises again during the flight, I might be caught unarmed. With this device I can relax knowing that when the prophecy is fulfilled and every stupid thing I've ever said is proved right, and pincos come groveling to me to save them because it turns out, er whatever I think, I dunno, God etc. is right, I can use my gun ownership to overpower the enemies of America with this pen.

  • @Sampanion Dude....step away from the bong....

  • i still dont get what it is supposed to do.

    how is it a weapon?

i can just get a regular pen to hit the pressure points

  • lol, curly.

  • @jbeath - What was the name of the show and which US State is it held in? Thanks.

  • this doesn't go through security. believe me i know.

  • Lovely, a weapon people are allowed to bring on a plane.

  • So i could use this to hijack a plane?

  • @MrRacetiger Yes , yes you can

  • @MrRacetiger Nah, you won't get past security, no matter what the manufacturer says.

  • @MrRacetiger Nooo, but you might use it to PREVENT a hi-jacking....

  • This title is the result of the manufacture's claims. What do you think the title should be?

    Thanks for your comments.

  • This is a horrifically misleading title. It should be changed.

  • fuck the tsa!

  • @TacticalAngel86 Vote for Ron Paul, he will in the TSA on so much more.

  • First, any weapon is prohibited from airplanes whether it's listed or not. Second, I have seen these caught by TSA from passengers in the past. Most of the time, you're allowed to mail it back to yourself but if you want to take the chance of being fined, going to federal court, and being on a list then by all means.

  • Eh, it's a good looking pen, meaning that your average TSA mongoloid will confiscate it for his own use just because he can.

    Oooh! Shiny! Oooh!

  • Come on, they will take it away if they want. Ever read the TSA manual? theire descretion. I have a lot of different ones and wouldnt trust TSA. Only in the Travel Industry 4 decades, had tsa take stuff from me before. Hell they took that 80 year olds applesauce haha. Truth, look that one up.

  • just wish TSA really approved it ! if the officer is pissed by that today he will still take it away from you !

  • I prefer my 6oz bud weiser belt buckle with size 36 leather belt for air travel!
