  • @roopster003 Haha thanks I admit I had to laugh at that. I try to keep a video log of changes to it just to track my own progress. It's kinda cool to show everyone the first walkaround and than the last one too. But I don't do them unless something interesting happens so they're not regular or anything. Also last year I was getting all pumped to race, season starts soon.

    Oh and I have the girl stuff taken care of too. I'm still lmao about that comment though.

  • @monsterrmann2244 Renthal's are so much better at soaking up bumps, it's worth it. Plus the Fat Bar looks pretty cool.

    keep it stock until you can afford more. honda's usually don't need any work done. all you'd be paying for is gas/oil.

  • i went trail riding.. lost my kick start lever. all my nerf bars are loose a poped a wheely and fked up my rear grab bar.... all my skidplates are loose and shateriung arroudn man it pizes me off.

    right like I do that all the time. besides i get my piston and valves taken care of regularly and last time it was done they told me everything was in excellent condition so maybe if i did that all the time there'd be an issue but clearly there isn't. why don't you think a little before you start running your mouth.

  • now you should get an aftermarket air filter and camshaft. i am gonna get a k&n air filter and a hot cams stage II and a new exhaust this summer.

  • @Mxrider2627 I am thinking about getting the Two Bros header and getting a re jet, might go with a k&n or a UNI. After that I will look at cams but the first thing I gotta do is get some decent tires on there and replace my cracked front bumper.

  • Basically all of it. My mom bought $300 of my quad just because this quad was more expensive then the other two yfz's I looked at but one sold before I could go look at it and the other one had no title.

  • dude that things sounds beautiful when it hits the rev limiter, lol. and did you have to re-jet since it's a slip on? im getting a leexxe mxe slip on in a few days, and i have no idea how to find out what size of jet kit i neede to use even IF i need one.

  • it needed zero jetting unless I removed my airbox but im going into AMA racing which prevents air box modification. I also looked at the lexx pipes before i looked at two bros and you won't have to jet at all.

  • @58atvrider I'd stay away from Lexx and all the other "no-name" pipes. People who have used them where totally dissatisfied. Get a good pipe like the Two Bros', Sparks, HMF or anything like that.

  • ive actually did A LOT of looking into lexx mxe slip on exhaust, i looked through about 4 different websites and there's been no bad reviews for it, it's got a quiet core insert that can be romoved for a race core which is lowder, it sounds just like a FMF powercore 4. trust me, i hate bying "off-brand" stuff but this is gonna be a name brand soon its becoming a really popular pipe. and for 179.99 you cant beat that price.

  • No man, Check out YFZ central. The Lexx pipe was of poorer quality, and FMF is garbage (packing is shit in like 4 hours of use) ATV-Action tested the Lexx pipe on a TRX450R in one of their issues and they where less than impressed, also the mounting strap covers like half the logo. If you want a pipe, make sure it will last and has allen head bolts on the can so you can atleast re-pack it.

  • yea i heard about the half logo cover thing, but i ordered the pipe 3 days before this, so i guess i'll have to see how it goes, if it sounds like shit, then ill save up money and try to get an hmf, for right now im broke and cant even afford a good pipe, it'll be better than stock at least.

  • Even a Trinity Stage lV slip-on is a great pipe. 299.99 and they are great quality.

    Noo, FMF is the worst pipe you can get. Ever see a Dynochart for an FMF? Downright sad. Nothing to gain, you just loose like 1-2 HP.

  • ya but wat pipe was it they probubly have 20 differnt pipes I know my pipe gives me an extra 4-5 HP

  • powerbomb is the only good one the rest suck. my two brothers gives me around 8hp and has the patent on a lot of high end stuff like the magnesium end cap which is a strong and lightweight metal. fmf is okay but not the best. if anything DASA is the best.

  • @marinecamando FMF Mega-Bomb paired with a Titanium Factory 4.1, Theres your proof. FMF's Flagship pipe sucks balls. No offence but I have seen many other FMF pipes do just as $h!tty.

  • Good point I forget about the MegaBomb but really it's only the Factory 4.1 and one of the bomb headers that are worth the money and paired it's a lot more money then a DASA full but I agree that combo is extremely good, I can't say the same for all their pipes.

  • @BWRProductions Actually, no. According to the results I have seen, you would not want to waste your money with the Mega-Bomb and the 4.1 silencer. If you want to throw away over 500 bucks on an FMF system, better just donate it. either way, its a loss cause.

  • oh oops thought you were standing up for it, I can never even find any info on FMF pipes so my info comes from what I hear. I really don't like FMF but I thought the power and megabombs were decent pipes. Guess not. Thanks for the info.

  • @BWRProductions No man, not at all. I'm regestered to a few Forums and some people got their FMF pipes Dyno'd on various quads and nobody was happy with the results. In fact, over half of the general public trash talks FMF, based on facts they have heard/seen. I had the displeasure of owning an FMF on my Foreman500FE, and it was the "stainless steel" one, too bad its rusted out completely and blew out the gaskets that keep the end cap from vibrating.

  • Yeah I don't like FMF one bit. As far as stainless steel goes without correct treatment it loses it's stainless properties at high heat. FMF was better before it got so big and made crappier exhausts.
