Ike is pretty devastating if you know how to use him(like i do sometimes). his charged side a attack can easily kill two people right on the spot if used with skill

toon link and link are meant for people who dont care about damage, but building it up. if you stay away and damage your enemies from afar and use you abilities well, your the king of the battle

pit is also good. he's kind of a hybrid of both ranged and melee.i dont play him alot, so thats all i have to say for him

He's playing it on Japanese language setting. Pit's voice is more childish, and it says "Game Set" or "Time Up" at the end instead of just "Game" or "Time".

I think you actually have to get the Japanese version of the game. I thought there was a language setting when I posted that (since there was on Melee), but I don't think there is one in Brawl.

No, it's not balanced. There's much more than power and speed of character. It's also about the quickness of the attacks, the range, the weight, the recovery, a lot of factors. Generally, they're well balanced, though.

the thing that people have against ike is this: The people who hate ike have no skill, and their are certain characters like ike, that, for some stupid reason, they cant seem to grasp their fighting style because their inexperianced noobs. therefore, they gave out the stupid idea of a "Cheap" character, so that they had a dumb excuse for being bad at the game.

all Super Smash Bros. games, is about haveing skills to play... but about the fighting style thing i can't really agree, it's more like, the character have a "fighting style" and the you add your own sota personal "touch" to that fighting style to fill out the weak spots of your "right now useing" character... or that's how i thing it's sota working

Actually, that's untrue. "Perfect" recovery is not all too uncommon in brawl now. Think of it; Pit's Shitty Defense + His extreme recovery equals balance.

Besides, there are a multiple of other characters who have recovery similar to pit's... Dedede, rob, sometimes even luigi! Face it, Brawl really upped the recovery standard.

Yes, he is very low, but it's due to his easily gimped recovery.

Plus, I practice and use Ike considerably well compared to everyone else on the roster, simply because he's my main.

Just sayin', I don't do well with Jiggs. She's not bad, I just don't do too well.

That is because of Jigglypuff's properties. Is power the only thing that determines a character's tier list? Look at Meta Knight! In actuality, he is weak but why is he on top? I think it is self explanatory.

One thing about Jigglypuff's moves (I use her occasionally) is that her moves, although powerful, are TERRIBLE starting lag. It takes too long to initiate.
