What happened to the CONXURO?

This was recorded in a monastery, so I guess the friars deemed the Conxuro (with its mentions of Satan and Hell and the likes) inappropriate. Still, no Queimada is a Queimada without the Conxuro.

Indeed is quite aproppiate, because the meaning of the words in the Conxuro, are intended to protect the drinkers of the Queimada, against the demons, the witches sorceries, and some other hellish stuff.
"E cando este brebaje baixe por as nosas gorxas quedaremos libres dos males do nostra ialma, e todo embruxamento"
"And when this potion goes down our throats, we´ll be free of all ailments of our souls, and all Hexes"
