Gran Turismo games always miss something in terms of presentation. In this case, it's the camera angles. Why wouldn't they program in the angles from the show? Polyphony always comes so close, but stumbles on all the little finishing touches.

In one of the GT5 trailers, the stig was in it driving a TVR

The actual TV show camera angles are present, but they only occur after the first lap during a replay. If you switch away from the TV camera mode it's pretty easy to miss the spots they occur in too.
