Voting into a closed box without arguments is anti-democratic. It was invented by the elite, disconnected from the process of community debate and called democracy only because its etiology is in democratic process. The people are made to believe they are supporting a free political system, on the basis of not know what other things belonged to the original democratic process. Democracy really means ability to speak against by evidence and proof. Voting was for seeing if more debate was needed

In result by making voting anonymous and secret, the Capitalists, rich white old men in England and Finland etc. in 19th century, they prevented us from debating things and from the very meaning of democracy. Ballot secrecy is claimed to protect from vote manipulation, but in reality it shelters from real discussion and thus preserves the rule of the patriarchs.

As you can see, they changed the central value of unrestricted argument into freedom from vote manipulation. They invented a new meaning for democracy and placed that as the central value and practice of democracy, that is secret voting away from corruption of their sole right to decide

They are able to control all votes, not by manipulating 'free' votes, but by inventing the questions and deciding the time and the number of votes, which doesn't contain all political decisions at any given time. Voting is used during elections and referendums, not to change the decision making process into a more democratic one, but to create public illusion of the democratic nature of the ruling system.

The elite are capable of controlling the government, because they control the ideology: They justify having to obey their will by going through voting for the questions that they wish to proliferate. We think we have to obey because it is based on voting, created by the same people at the top.
