Are you a diehard republican, or are you just ignorant of Obama's tax plan? He plans to raise taxes only on the top 1-3% of the nation--the wealthy. And he plans on cutting taxes 4 times as much as John McCain for the poor and middle class. Why is that so bad? You don't think the people who can handle it should be taxed more? We're in huge debt; we have two wars going on and a terrible health care system. How do you plan on getting the money to fix this mess?

Why shouldn't the rich be taxed? Because the only reason I can think of is that they're greedy. So maybe they won't be able to buy that second yacht when Obama is in office, but at least our country will be running smoothly once again. It's a generally accepted idea in economics that the less many you have, the more likely you are to spend the money you get. That's why Obama's tax plan is going to spur the economy--he will cut taxes for the poor and middle class, which is the majority of the US.
