ALL forms of "socialism". I look at "socialism" in regards to healthcare, as our country, which is supposed to be the greatest in the world, looking after the health of it's citizens. Talking with republicans, it seems for them it's more about who they're going to have to sit next to in a waiting room, rather then the well being of the country.

Yes, I do know what Socialism means, but obviously you don't. You seem to think that publicly funded social services are Socialism. That is just wrong.

Socialism is a political and economic philosophy where THE GOVERNMENT OWNS THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION. That is Socialism in a nutshell!

Something else you miss is that Police and Firemen are typically funded by the local, rather than the Federal, government (though that line grows fuzzier all the time) giving local citizens greater control.
