Just because there is a slow sign on the hill, that doesn't mean that you have to stop there. The only reason there are slow signs are because there is either limited sight distance or there are trails merging together. Since there was no one merging on the trail around him and he seams to be an experienced skiier, then he had no reason slow down for no reason.
I love the skiing in Steamboat!!!
