The type of supercharger he has is called a centrifical supercharger, but sometimes it is refered to as a belt driven turbo, which one is correct is negligible but in general a forced induction system running off of the belt on the engine is considered a blower or supercharger. A turbo runs off of the pressure from the exhaust to spool up and force air back into the engine. Just my .02

@exaltedgamingclan just for some information its called a centrifugal (sic) supercharger, which means instead of having scrolls that are direct driven by the crank pulley (big belt and all) which are usualy top mounted aka the big drag cars. These turbos basically use the front compressor housing off a turbo and use a gearset drive on the shaft instead of a exhaust housing. It is belt driven but allows it to be placed remotely from the engine, in this case near the headlight.

I have a 6000rpm rev limiter in my 85' GT and it sounds alot different then this "rev limiter", mainly because hes throttling it, not hitting the limiter. Rev limiters are very fast popping when it hits.
