@gravehorder The people at Bioware said themselves that Duncan is dead. I'm afraid that's just wishful thinking. Honestly, I liked Duncan. He didn't deserve to die this way. Yeah, Loghain had his reasons for betraying Cailan since Cailan was betraying him and Anora by planning to leave Anora and marry Empress Celene of Orlais, but to also off Duncan and the Grey Wardens? The reasons for Loghain's betrayal still do not redeem him in my eyes. Had they waited for the Orlesians, they may have won.

But yes, Duncan is dead and his blood was used to awaken the archdemon, explained by the Architect. If there's no women bodies, they become Brood Mothers. All the rest were eaten.

Loghain was an idiot, you fight a COMMON enemy with everyone, you don't fight it with one small army.

well at dlc return to ostagar that oger rises again and you have to fight it again, Alistair was the one that made that epic jump at the oger and killed him at me :D

Is there a free version that DLC where you will be back at Ostagar? I was really looking forward to it though it may sound impossible but I found Sacred Ashes DLC far better than the official ones.

2:12 is the best part I wonder if what Duncan is feeling at that part.

Unfortunately Duncan is dead... he was epic this was an awesome scene i find that in most cut scenes in this game the music fits perfectly to create the mood. I mean you might not think so but when Duncan looks up at the becon and squints in anger i just imagine him thinking "Damn you loghaine..."

I loved the scene before this when the battle just began.

The part where Duncan looks up at the flame and the theme song plays was awesome as well.

Gave me the feeling that Duncan still had faith in the future with you and Alistar surviving.
