Gibralatar is the best company EVER! They stand by there product. I will use nothing but Gibralatar for here on out. I cannot say enough about how good they are. I have a 26'' bass drum and the Spec's was changed on the rack I ordered. I wrote them a E-mail and in 3 days I had what I needed. Thank You Gibralatar.
I'm probably going to do this when I get my new kit. The VMS Stealth Mounting System, the Gibraltar Mounting Pod, and two Stealth Side Racks. With cymbal arms, clamps, and so-forth. A very inexpensive setup that makes a clean stage setup and very comfortable for me to play effectively.
Make your own cheap racks!! PVC pipes, connectors and concrete! First, buy the sizes, turns and lengths you need. Second, put it together and make it look and where u like it, then take it apart, fill the used pieces with concrete for stability and so they don't break. Put any kind of STRONG bonding glue to keep the joints from unparting! Last but not least, spray paint it chrome( or any colour you wish it to be.)
This works for me and it was cheap and I got mine to be where I like and want fo
@RoloTony69 Because a 14 x 14 is a heavy drum, I don’t recommend hanging it really from anything. You will have a bit of wobble, no matter what kind of stand/rack you mount it on. If you want to mount it to the GSSMS, or any other stand/rack, my advice would be to support it with one leg on the inside
@GibraltarDIY Even with two memory clamps, one on each side? I have a 16x16 hanging from a cymbal stand and it barely shakes. Are you talking about shaking, or actually movement out of alignment from where it was clamped?
Thats a fantastic idea! Iv been using one of the Gibraltar drum rack for quite some time now and i'll never go back, this thing would be a savage addition for my kit! Thank guys!!
Very cool. Anytime I can get rid of a stand is a plus. I'd like to see it in action, to see what movement if any would or could occur, although it looks quite sturdy. Whats the price range? Thanks!
As far as movement, rack systems are build on T-leg sections that create a solid foundation to the floor. For hard hitters you can add a side extension on one or both sides to give more support, this spreads the load and strengthens the stability even more. As far as price full rack systems street price for around $299 complete. But if you already have cymbals stands and tom mounts we recommend utilizing those into the set up to lower costs.
Every thing I get from Gibraltar breaks why is this I use them properly too but still break

Can the Gibraltar GSSMS Stealth Side Mounting System mount a 14x14in floor tom to a reasonable height and not be wobbly or shaking or fall over?

If a person needs a video to set up a tube rack they should not be playing drums.
