  • i believe in Oswald Cobblepot. yeah nice slogan Ozzi

  • You've got to chase the chicken, batman!!!

  • oh my gosh, he's that dirty old man from grumpy old men! hahaaha

  • you guys don't recognize dick cheney when you see him?

  • LOL .. wow.

  • Obligatory thumbs up if tv tropes brought me here

  • its kind of like the debate in batman returns.

  • why does he unfold his umbrella in the end?

  • 57 people voted for batman

  • wwwwwwwwak qak qak qak qak qak humm hummm ckuf ckfu

  • Penguin for the 2012 Republican ticket!

  • thumbs up if you were sent from tv tropes

  • Anyone else find it funny The Penguin called Robin "Wonder Midget" when he is shorter than Robin? lololol

  • adam westtttr adam westtttt adam westttt. why do you close your eyes when we make love

  • I love how the Penguin first says there won't be any mud-slinging, then proceeds to do exactly that.

  • At least Penguin can keep his pants on unlike EX-Senator Weiner.

  • I saw this movie when I was 5 years old! I remember everything!

  • Penguin's insane troll logic is flawless.

  • At the rate we're going, I can see this being the GOP's candidate in 2012.

  • he claims that there would be no mudslinging. what's the first thing he does? question his opponet batman!

  • im sure the Penguin aligns himself with the socialist, tax and spend Spendocratic party since he likes to take other poeple's money and spend it, just like the modern day spendocratic party.

  • Cool! "Batman returns" is kind of a remake of this!

  • @039773 yeah with a special guest appearance from Catwoman!! haha!!

  • The Penguin IS Mickey from the Rocky films!

  • People, here's a tip, it's not Obama and McCain, Ryan and Obama, Jimmy Bob Button Pants or whoever.

    It's BATMAN and THE PENGUIN.

  • 2 bad x in msia.

  • Batman = Obama (Too nice and polite for his own good. Actually thinks people will listen to reason)

The Penguin = Every Republican in the last 40 years, including Paul Ryan (Not afraid to use dirty tactics and flat out lie--why should they? Those methods actually work!)

  • @MrAcast84

    Sadly that'sq true.

People rather hear an outspoken person say moronic things compared to a person that actually thinks before opening his mouth.

  • Batman = Paul Ryan

    Obama = The Penguin

  • @BlueKenshin

    Penguin = republicans

Batman = Obama... not because his policy, but because of the way Batman speaks

Paul Ryan plan is a joke. Well the joker is not present in the video.

  • @yes4me

What's there to joke about Paul Ryan's plan? He's fully aware of the garbage that is destroying our economy.

As for Obama being Batman, Batman doesn't go back on his word. Batman also seems to know how to manage to money.

  • @BlueKenshin There is nothing funny about Paul Ryan. It will simply bankrupt the economy (source: Politifact, TYT, etc...).

  • @yes4me

Bankrupt the economy? If those sources say that, they are full of crap. What's bankrupting us right now is social security and medicare. Both of these programs are unsustainable and the government keeps stealing out the national treasury in attempt to fuel it.

  • @BlueKenshin I think you need to check your source. The SS and medicare are doing much better than what Fox News would say. It is the republicans who want to steal the money from the last place that's doing fine to give it to the rich people. All Obama need to do is stop bailing out everyone, and republicans to agree to tax the riches and the oil companies...

  • @yes4me

My source is the congressional budget office. Check your private messages (since I can't post links here). No need to tax the rich (who create a lot of the jobs in the first place are are less capable with higher taxes). The solution is simple. Phase out both of the above two programs. That cuts out a big chunk of our budget right (over 50%).Take the competition away from healthcare insurance and put it on healthcare itself, like any other commodity. Also consider privatizing SS.

  • @BlueKenshin If you believe the rich need more tax break, best of luck. You are in clear minority. The majority, even republicans, believe in tax cut. Rich create jobs maybe oversees, not much here.

  • @yes4me

Ad populam. You cite the majority (without even proving what the majority thinks, and you're mistaken by the way) in order to infer that I'm incorrect regarding a matter which has no baring on what the majority believes. Regardless, rich don't create jobs here as often BECAUSE the high tax rates in the first place.Much easier to get employees elsewhere. Give more tax breaks and they have more revenue to distribute, hence more jobs and lower unemployment.

  • @BlueKenshin George Bush did tax cuts. Not only we didn't have an increase in job we had a decreased followed by a crash... and it is not even over. Tax cut for the rich does not work. Stop trying to tell people lies. Why should the rest anyhow have to be taxed for contributing in behalf of the rich? All this tax cut do is help the richest and make the rest poorer. It is like going back to a monarchy in a way.

  • @yes4me

Check your PMes for all the facts and figures. Employment INCREASED under Bush. Tax cuts for the rich not only increased average income, but shifted tax burden further onto the rich incidentally. The lower their tax percentages are, the less burdens on their finances, hence greater ability to generate revenue, hence more tax revenue. This is basic stuff. Lies? lol. Stop blindly believing everything the lamestream media tells you and look for the facts yourself.

  • @BlueKenshin Clearly you get your "facts" from Fox News.

  • OSWALD MOTHAFUCKIN COBBLEPOT

  • The penguin is pretty awesome, after all he did train rocky balboa

  • isn't the Penguin actor from a bunch of twilight zone episodes?

  • Wow, Glenn Beck has been on TV a while now.

  • Dig that laugh at 2:43 wah wah wa wa waah - CLASSIC

  • He's as crooked as a warped shillelagh hahaha

  • 2 camels and a tiny car

  • The fuck am I watching?

  • He would make a great politician-obviously mastered the skill of spin and deviation from the questions

  • Batman the TV series (which I loved) was actually intended to be nothing but cheap comedy parody based on bringing the comic strip to the television screen for children in order for them to understand it. But as time went by, they realized that the general American adult audience have minds like that of an eight year old kid and the concentration span of a 3 month infant.

  • @angels77100 It's struck me that the series seems at times to be (for adults) a parody of the values that the show seems to present to children. Batman's obsession with not drinking alchohol is a recurring joke, as is his general ability to reach the wrong conclusion (especially in "Batman: The Movie").

  • @gentlerat Yes you're right. It was intended for adults at the end up. It's like the Simpsons, only Adults can really get the jokes.

  • Stop putting the cigarette thing up to your face then taking it away again! SMOKE THE MORTHERFUCKING PIPE.

  • Christopher Hitchnes would have a hard time debating the penguin

  • Not for nothing Batman has traditionally been considered conservative in most of the comics and film and even fascist in some publications, such as those of Frank Miller, and his methods in the (very overrated) DARK KNIGHT movie are very neo-conservative. So in a way, Batman has been the most popular conservative of all time.

  • ROFLMAO, if this where real and batman dressed in thin cloth like that it would be SO easy to tell who he is.

  • Give him a chalkboard and he becomes Glenn Beck.

  • The Penguin should have gone 'I am not a crook!'

  • I would say penguin's arguments are presently used by the teapartiers and some Fox News members: Factually incorrect and full of baseless accusations.

  • what is the name of this episode? I rembmber the scenc when batman drove a guy through the table during a fight secne.

  • Whoever made the comment, "Obviously, Penguin is a Republican", does not see the Penguin's physical resemblance to FDR, and sees how he runs a campaign, just like Harry Reid.

  • Well the guy in prison at 1:56 obviously wasn't thinking about taking the flyback transformer out of the television and using it to arc weld the bars loose.

  • robin sucks

  • 1:27 crooked as a WHAAAATTT

  • @blueshade26 I think he says "shillelagh" which is an Irish club. I think the cop is supposed to be Irish. It sounds like he said "shalay," which according to urbandictionary is a pipe used to smoke meth.

  • The finest feathered fiend ever. Vote Penguin.

  • Actually, Batman is a republican. That much is clear in the GWB metaphors in the Dark Knight.

  • @Sage80 Indeed and Obama has shown himself to be a Joker. Well, a number of us already knew that back in 2008 but many others are having to learn that the hard way. (And some probably will never learn.)

  • Penguin for president!

  • They might even end up having a hang parliament

  • wasn't he the vice president for 8 years under good old George W? :)

  • I would have also pointed out that Batman is often seen cavorting with boy wonders - not that there is anything wrong with that.

  • @ytalinflusa As long as he is not paying for it.

  • Wow, this is show is PATHETIC. Absolutely atrocious

  • Batman = McCain

    Penguin = Obama

  • @BlueKenshin you're doing it wrong

  • @rkkim

If I were to have done it wrong, I would've voted for Obama

  • Wonder midget!! xD

  • There is nobody that can replace Cesar, Burgess, Julie & Frank the best batman villains of course Vincent Price as Egghead and Victor as King Tut had there moments

  • Seriously, why does this have so many hits?

  • um thats more like a libral democrat not a republican...fool

  • @Dufase19089 Arguing like a jackass isn't a republican or democrat thing its a jackass thing. and there are jackasses in all races, creeds, religions, and polical affiliations.

  • @johnnythesailorman True, but you gotta wonder why the democratic party has a jackass as their symbol. Coincidence? I think NOT

  • @Dufase19089 good one

  • @Dufase19089

You say that as if you discovered some great revelation...try again.

The term "jackass" was foisted upon Andrew Jackson back in 1828 and later popularized by political cartoonist Thomas Nast in the 1870s. So, no, it's not a coincidence. Nice try at trying to misdirect Johnnythesailorman's words as if the republicans get a pass for anything "jackass-like" they have done over the years. Why does Dick Cheney sound like The Penguin? Coincidence? I think NOT! Two can play this game. :D

  • @gizmo2084 Um ok? Why are you trying to combat sarcasm?

  • OMG is that Walter Cronkite???

  • Wow, omg ii laughted hard when i saw Robin running like a girl OMG! I hated this show when i was a kid!!

  • Who is this Acrobatic Clown?

  • Jon Stewart always compared Dick Cheney to the Penguin.

  • I've never seem the two of them in the same room.

  • burgess Meredith

""""???????? cant say it, dont know if i can spell it

  • Two camels in a tiny f***ing car

  • "Mr Penguin"..lol

Burgiss Meridith - h'es a legened as the Penguin

he's great in - "Of mice and men"

  • holy batcrap, the penguin is dick cheney.

  • the old batman series cannot even be compared to the dark knight

  • A WARPED SHELAELIEH!!!

    XD

i especially love how the goons have GOON written on theur shirts

    gold

    pure, utter, GOLD....

  • It's supposed to stand for, Gotham Order of Occidental Noblemen or something.

  • Only a moron would fall for Penguin's tricks in this set-up.

Anyone with half a brain would figure out that Penguin's around the police because he's being arrested by them and that Batman's around criminals because he's stopping them from committing crimes.

They'd also figure out that Penguin's behind Batman's side of things not being heard. Only a complete idiot on crack would fall for Penguin's con job.

  • @girlgarde - wrt: "Only a complete idiot on crack would fall for Penguin's con job." - And/or the American people.

  • Good point.

After all, they voted in that idiot ex-actor Ronald Regean as President over an intelligent and capable man like Jimmy Carter in 1980.......

Still, the whole 60's Batman series was corny to the point where looking back, people laugh at how moronic the people in the storyline truly were.

Having said that, the Penguin would indeed make a clever politician if he hadn't decided to become a criminal instead.

  • Unfortunately, I've seen little evidence that criminality is an impediment to being a politician and until American citizens demand ACCOUNTABILITY from their elected officials, unscrupulous politicians will continue to act... criminally.

  • @girlgarde You mean there are politicians out there who are NOT criminals????

  • @jacksy1980 I mean a criminal was overt in his methods and openly breaks the law by robbing banks and kidnapping people for example, not the politician type of criminal who does it covertly......

  • Swap Penguin for Republican and you are on to something!

  • I'm not trying to make any political statements but the Penguin looks like Nixon XD

  • @EchoBoomer1987 looooooooooool, man i never ever thought of that. Good observation.

  • @EchoBoomer1987 He kinda sounds like him too!

  • @niflap

World's getting dumber, my friend. We're just in the upper decks of a sinking ship.

  • ooo that penguin, hes as crooked as a warped shalleleigh

  • John McCain's NOT the Penguin! I AM!!WHAAAQUAQUAQUAQUA..wheeze!

  • Has a Batman episode become smarter than reality, or has reality become stupider than a Batman episode?

  • Burgess Meredith is an amazing actor and a great Penguin

  • Batman lost this debate.

  • 0:35 yup rediculous costume.

  • hmm...

If Obama had been bringing all of those criminal FRIENDS of his to justice, I'd see your point. But, Obama didn't.

    Obama is no Batman.

  • For being campy, this sure had a lot of good moments.

  • "There is only one. Batman. Who is he?" ADAM WEST.

  • Is Penguin.. Micky from Rocky?

  • Think so.

  • TV Batman was the best.

  • "he's as crooked as a warped sheleligh" hahahaha

  • LOL John McPenguin!!

  • Chief O'Hara: "He's as crooked as a warped shilleleigh!" (sp.?) Does everything out of O'Hara's mouth have to be an Irish stereotype? LOL

  • Comment removed

  • I luv Burgess Meredith.....cool old dude!!!

  • micky rocky

  • 0:28

  • Maybe this was the inspiration for Batman Return's idea with the Penguin running for Mayor while trying to destroy Batman.

  • "LISTEN TO THOSE LIES!!!!!!" Gordan and that dumb Irish cop. :)

  • Yeah, Wtf, right!? How stereotypical was that Irish cop!? Lol! 'Warped shaleileigh!' lol!

  • Classic Penguin, Burgess Meredith did such an great Penguin. R.I.P

  • Wow a debate worth watching

  • its dick cheney!

  • If I would have to choose between a crazy guy with a long nose, who acts like a Penguin, and another crazy guy,who dress up like a bat and calls himself "Batman"...I would live in U.S.A.

  • Yup...but oddly enough that was normal. Last Governer Election I faced I had a choice between the Terminator and Arnold Jackson and a Porn Star. Shit like this just seems normal now.

  • Join my campaign for Mayor of Gotham!

Check my channel to see how you, can help me, Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin), become the mayor of Gotham City!

  • i agree with penguin lol. batman is ridiculous

  • all we need is for rocky to jump up and say "ay yo mick i cant do it" and for penguin to tell him "shut up ya sunuvabitch!"

  • wonder midget!

  • At least he doesn't hang out with Jeremiah Wright and David Ahers.

  • Hey baby, wanna take a gander at some Adam West penis?

  • his hair gel did the trick haha

  • GET UP, YOU SON OF A BITCH!

  • adam west looked scared.

  • Only the 1960's would include a debate as a battle. I used to watch this show when I was a kid. Now that I am older, I see how dumb this show and Batman comics in the 1960's were.

  • How can this show be "dumb" when the satire is still relevant today?

The Batman TV show was a satire of superheroes and comic books. It's certainly a lot more sophisticated and holds up better than most "serious" superhero adaptations.

  • are you a GOON?

  • srsly what a retarded debate, I think this would be even funny to a 10 year old kid.

  • Are You Mad?!?!?!?!

The Penguin's Evil! He's Spreading Lies About Batman's Heroic Deeds!

  • Wow, it's McCain! Heehee... (I lean left)
