Just wondering how you avoid hurting your wrists. I've been foam rolling for months and it always hurts my wrist to be up like you were by just your wrists while calf rolling, hamstrings, etc. Now I actually pulled a tendon or something just from doing like you. Any tips?? Or other ways to do it without straining the wrist?
Foam rollers are the best. I make a lot of jokes that one day they're going to put massage therapists out of business. This being an adhesion you should also be doing work to lift the tissues apart from each other - such as with a cupping tool, or even with a plunger as I saw somebody do in another video here (clever, and cheaper!) As well as good deep stretches.
Use your elbow and forearm instead.
