I know some of you consider this cartoon cheezie, but for me is a very clever sience fiction H-B masterpiece, along with the Herculoids. gotta love all those deadly rays, the space atmosphere and of course that classic jazzy music

I love how they used both new and old narrative techniques: The classic "Let's explain what we are doing/going to do before doing it" (Space Ghost) and the "Show, don't tell" (Batman), plus the use of the old sound stocks, like the "lion" roar for the monster or the typical 60's ray-gun sound. The music, the laughter at the end, oh my. The people working on this segment must've truly loved those old Hanna-Barbera cartoon show from the 60s.
