Glock 18's are only available to be sold to Police, Military, or Class 3 dealers. The reason why is the Glock 18 was designed in 1987. They were not even available before the May 19, 1986 civilian cut off for machine guns. No full auto produced after that date can be sold to any civilian even on a form 4. The ATF cannot register any other weapons onto the registry.
They are expensive but you can legally modify a G17 to function and fire like a G18 for around $600, not bad when you cant buy a full auto M11 for less than $4000, legally of course.
its a class 3 minimum to produce or convert or purchase a full auto firearm, last i knew could be wrong. I just know it can be done legally and i looked into it to get a suppressor a while ago but it was too expensive, and thats exactly what the BATF wants.
the g18 is not airsoft. you just cant buy it in this country. the only glock pistol that comes with more than a single round per trigger pull from the factory is the g18.
Most law enforcement agencies only issue compact pistols to detectives. Most law enforcement agencies also stepped away from the 9mm because it does not do its job. The majority of police departments that issue Glocks issue the 22 which is a 40 Caliber.
However, the majority of police departments also do not require any one pistol to be used. Any officer can use any pistol so long as he/she passes the Department's Firearm Qualification/Certification Course. My brother moved from the glock to carrying the Springfield .45 X.D. (which, by the way, is an extraordinary gun that I highly recommend owning_
Wrong most agencies require you to carry a department issued weapon on duty but let you carry what you wish off duty. Also I dont like the XD's the grip angle is wrong for me.
You have to add, that G18 comes from factory with switcher between single and full auto. Of course with some aftermarket internal parts, you can change all GLOCKs to full auto only mode. :-)

the 18 is a airsoft.. can't get as real gun... and yeah yo can have almost all glock on full auto....

the police, if using a Glock (as my brother does), use Glock 19's.
Glock 18's have full auto straight from the factory and are really erratic and hard to control if you fire too many rounds too fast.

Most law enforcement agencies only issue compact pistols to detectives. Most law enforcement agencies also stepped away from the 9mm because it does not do its job. The majority of police departments that issue Glocks issue the 22 which is a 40 Caliber.

However, the majority of police departments also do not require any one pistol to be used. Any officer can use any pistol so long as he/she passes the Department's Firearm Qualification/Certification Course. My brother moved from the glock to carrying the Springfield .45 X.D. (which, by the way, is an extraordinary gun that I highly recommend owning_

Wrong most agencies require you to carry a department issued weapon on duty but let you carry what you wish off duty. Also I dont like the XD's the grip angle is wrong for me.

Most agencies in my area allow you to carry any gun you want as long as it is a .40 caliber, .45 caliber, 9mm or even .38 Special

the glock 19 doesnt have auto, the only glock in the world that is full auto is the glock 18

You have to add, that G18 comes from factory with switcher between single and full auto. Of course with some aftermarket internal parts, you can change all GLOCKs to full auto only mode. :-)
