  • Nice!!!

  • the Irish army's best friend :)

  • @xJumpStyleZx And Australias

  • I always liked the overall profile reduction that the A3 experienced in comparison to the prior variants.

  • I'd join the army to have some fun with one of these, except I'd probably have to go over seas and get shot at... This doesn't appeal to me.

  • @Zappyguy111 You can choose: Austria, Ireland or Australia.

  • @TheRaptor9898

Australia, worst of all the reserves aren't allowed to fire guns, we just get handed empty magzines and told to run around and play pretend. Makes me wonder if we'd be able to defend ourselves if times got tough.

  • @Zappyguy111 but your SAS is nice?

  • @TheRaptor9898

Great soldiers, but only because they pick the best of the best. Plus, their just ain't many people in Australia and even few elite infantry. We're a country bigger than the USA yet only have the population of one major Chinese city.

  • @Zappyguy111 Thats right, but the last war on australian ground was world war 2. I think some soldiers would be enought to fight the terrorists.

  • @TheRaptor9898

Well... The closest we've come to having a ground war in Australia: we got bombed 3 times, torpedoed, but that was about it. We were willing to surrender half the country to the Japs if they landed! Thank God, the Chinese and Americans were giving them enough hell they didn't have the people to spare for an invasion on Australia.

We do what we must to keep the peace. But soon, conflicts (I hope) will die down and we can then fund and focus on other important matters.

  • @Zappyguy111 that's not right, reserves do the same training as regulars and have loads of opportunites for live firing

  • @faxmachineman1000

What country are you from? Just curious.

  • @Zappyguy111 We live in the same city

  • @faxmachineman1000

Woops, forgot you could do that!

Actually, you don't get any live fire training while doing exercises, though you are allowed to use the range?

  • @Zappyguy111 you do live fire exercises on your IETs and have opportunities to do other exercises with the regs like RCB

  • i hate it when you regulate the single or auto mode with your trigger, half way down the trigger is single shot, and pressing the trigger all back is automatic, thats SO facking anoying:p

  • title is worng this is a aug hbar i now becuase i now allot about guns

  • @5B1 Are you joking? Being sarcastic? Thats not an AUG Hbar

  • COD gamers - rulezzzz!!! ha-ha-ha

  • i hate COD everryone thinks they know loads about guns after playin it

  • I hate. CoD gamers... So much. It's a retarded game. With "soldiers" with inhuman super powers. Called perks. And is mainly filled with 8 year olds who got through the non-excisting age restriction on the game.

Also, Steyr AUG has always been my fav weapon series since the Steyr AUG that was made in the 1970's.

  • @atatyrknumber1 the game i love to play is Arma II because it's a simulator, unlike cod

  • @atatyrknumber1 I remember the AUG from Predator 2, the street terrorist or gangs were using all AUG BAR's

  • still looks like a toy or syfy gun to me...

  • fake

  • I own this gun, and while it is the best gun I've ever fired, there is one downside. THE FRIKKEN PRICE!!! I was expecting something more long the lines of $1k but not $2k!

    Oh well, so worth it!!!!!

  • Me liky gunsy me liky gunsy

  • If I decide to have kids, I hope they're half as cool as this fuckin gun.

  • @Blavits HA HA HA! Thats got to be the best comment Ive read all year!

  • christmas list

  • this is going on my christmas list for sure...

  • is this the semi auto version?

  • beautiful.... =D

  • do those still have a 510mm barrel?

  • AUG and AUG HBAR are the same thing, the AUG with the 42inch barrel and bi pod is known as the HBAR(interchangeable Barrels)

  • @MrCiaran91

the HBAR stands for Heavy Barreled Assault Rifle, but yeah same principle it's for sustained fire

  • is it possible to adjust the length of the buttstock ?

  • @iodineclip no.

  • @iodineclip

no because most of the integral operating mechanisms are contained within the stock, in order to make the overall length of the gun shorter.

  • @iodineclipf the weapon was not a bull-pup class assault rifle i.e the magazine is behind the trigger.

The stock would then probably be able to be adjusted.

  • that's probably the sexiest gun ever made

  • Dam i wish standard issue F88 aus steyr looked like that.

  • Fuckin' Cool !!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful

  • so sexy i wanna shove it up my ass

  • @masterkemp u want it to come as well lol? XD

  • Absolutely a great gun but a prefer the black magazine instead of the olive/tan...

  • Austrian. The Aussie's use them alot, they actually proved them in war time. H Bar, is a heavy barrel conversion, you can swap barrels on this bish on the go. This does not have a H bar

  • @Tardeder and australia dont use the AUG and never have

  • @HONORGUARD308 Yes starting in 1985.

The rifle has also been adopted by the armed forces of Argentina, Australia (accepted into service in 1985 and manufactured by Australian Defence Industries in Lithgow, this Austeyr model is also in use by New Zealand

  • @HONORGUARD308 You may not currently use them, in the current division or squad you are attached to. But if you were in the ADF in 99 and deployed to East Timor you would have noticed your fellow Australians using them. :) Ireland also uses/used them. But, Australia did use them. And sorry I should say, it "came" from Austria.

  • @Tardeder but the austeyr is not the same as the AUG the F88 has had many changes to it the only part that is the same as the AUG is the fiberglass body. it doesnt even use the 5.56 NATO round but can shoot it. and i am in the ADF so i do use them

  • @HONORGUARD308 thanks, and interesting. I was not aware the F88 used a different round then the 5.56? I thought it used the SS109/M855 which are both 556 the same I fire from my M4 and STG. Aside from the F88T, which uses a .22 for training, what round are you guys firing out of the F88's you use?

  • @Tardeder it is a 556 ss109 round but it is a moded round only used by australia and newzealand, at the lithgow factory the barrels are made to australian specs to fire the australian 556 round. it can shoot the 556 NATO but isnt good for the barrel. its somewhat complex. and it works in reverse. 556 ss109aus in an M4 will kill the barrel really fast.. im not too sure exactly what the changes to the round is but i can try and find out. i know is it is much faster then the 556NATO

  • @Tardeder ok i found my data book. its a heavly modded propellant that flys faster and has much more range then the std 5.56mmNATO SS109 round, the projectile is hardly changed. its due to the power and speed of the projectile in the barrel that will ware out a un moded barrel such as the M4/M16 and AUG. it is alot more expensive to make, it would be cool if lithgow mad moded barrels so guys like you can use the round if the round ever was sold on the civil market

  • @HONORGUARD308 Cool man thanks for the info. :) Stay alert out there and wish you the best :)

  • what kind of railings is that?...

  • Isn't the aug hbar a foreign gun?

  • @Idn42 its austrian i thought, correct me if i'm wrong...

  • @keesurt you're right.

  • True.

Invented in the 60/70's by Steyr Mannlicher, an Austrian company.

  • @Idn42 this isnt an AUG hBAR, fucken video gamers

  • @StunnedMutha Actually technically it is an AUG HBAR. because the AUG has interchangeable barrells for CQB, Normal length a Light machinegun barrell and even a threaded barrell to basically turn it in a medium sniper rifle.

  • @VergilGrimm000 technically your wrong and its an AUG f-88 battle rifle.

saying that it is something that it COULD be doesnt mean it is one.

  • @VergilGrimm000

    oh ffs

the AUG Hbar isnt even the name of a gun

its the AUG with a Heavy barrel

in this video its the AUG A3 SA made for civs and police

you havnt got a fucking clue what your on about, so shut up,

only thing you got right is the fact you can change the barrels on the AUG

  • @StunnedMutha its the civilian modek aug

  • @StunnedMutha Indeed. H-Bar stands for Heavy barrel, which you put on the Steyr Aug if you need to make it into a support weapon.

  • @StunnedMutha yes it is!

  • @themrchappi1 No, its just an AUG you butt plug.

  • @StunnedMutha i had this weapon when i was in austrian armed forces, and YES, its is and Stg. 77 Steyr AUG

  • @themrchappi1 We also use the AUG in the Australian armed forces as our main battle rifle. I am pretty certain it is the same one your talking of, except we call it the AUS Steyr, because we like to be different.

  • at 00:11 on the far top left ,, what rifle is that?

  • @Bronsalegen

    i think it's a steyr too.. look at the private's hand... i think it's a bullpup rifle... :)

  • @Bronsalegen Same rifle, just equipped with a silencer - it's one of their promotional posters you can download from their website.

  • @Bronsalegen

i think its an fn f2000,wich was NOT created in mw2

  • @Bronsalegen how do you do that "00:11" thing where you can click on it and it takes you to the video?

  • is that the selective fire/mil spec version?

  • bitching !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That a bitching gun mate.
