Deathstroke appeared 11 years before Deadpool. Deadpool was an obvious rip off of Deathstroke though he has since developed into a unique character. Also, Taskmaster, and Deathstroke were made at the same time pretty much so It's hard to say what character really came first.

Deathstroke is a copy of Deathstrike! Deadpool was made as a parody version of Deathstroke, Marvel was making fun of Deathstroke-- not coping him.

Marvel started making fun of many DC characters cause they kept coping Marvel heroes, powers, and stories. Marvel thought instead of coping them lets make fun of them.

Who knew making fun of one of the gayest villains (who can't even beat a bunch of teens). Would become so famous and cool.

A deadpool is when you take all the prisoners in a prison and have them fight to the last man standing. As Deadpool sort of was the winner amongst all the prisoners/failed experiments of Weapon X he took on the name.
