I am actually impressed with this because I have a 5 year old that loves to play games , but there are next to no games for her to play . Most she has to read , or they are exploding guts and brains or cursing throughout the game. This is something she can jump right into and she just played the demo on xbox and loved it . Im getting it for her. Thanks for the review nice job on that

my lil 6 year old brother loves this game , he always on it , i think this game is good for kids it simple and fun for them and i do enjoy to watch and help him when he get a lil stuck , but all in all the game is good , he gets home from school and the game is on within miniuts , well worth it for him anyways, i see it more for kids than anything.

This game is slow-paced and short and a bit glitchy, but it's one of my favorite games I've played in a long time! It's inventive and very fun.

You'll have to gain the balloon ability, then eat a lot, then ride a series of vents way up in the air to gain the electric ability. Hope this helps :)

Not to be mean but you said in the beginging you cant control the maw. But you were riding him with his shooting power so you are controling him. I have the game. I cant forger out if Frank is a girl or a boy. His voice sounds like a girl.

Pretty fun experience so far, yes very little platforming and the slowness of the character can get annoying at times...but being a huge fan of these type games I'm liking it....great review Pete.

The game is pretty good. I'm not too sure if it is worth the $10 but so far its enjoyable. The cutscenes look amazing though.....wish it was a little bit longer but it's understandable since it is a downloadable game

heyy, i just watched this, and im interested in Action-Platformers/Adventure games. I first got into Ratchet and Clank, when it first came out, Then i heard about THE MAW!! last year on X Play (My FAV SHOW) and it looked kewl!!! so i waited and finally its here!! i like ur review... i give The Maw

I really like this game except the camera thing, and how slow you moved. especially on the laser-bird level.

Never had a problem of the maw burning and stunning things though. This could have made a good retail game is it was some times longer, had more enemies/preys.

I liked the demo to this game but was disappointed by the length and lack of depth to the game. This game seems to be geared toward kids rather than adults. If I had kids, I would probably have bought it. I think if it ever goes down to 400 points, I'll buy it.

there were a lot of times I had wished for some sort of run button. One of the levels grants you a power for a dash attack but the camera and controls are quite bad during these sequences.

only problem is that you spoil some of the puzzles for new people to the game.

for example, the level where you can fly, it took me like 10 mins to work that one out and people who watch your review will only make this short game even shorter.

I have not done an entire one yet no, my "a look back at ps2" video was just me picking out and talking about just some of the more unique games for the system. I highly highly doubt I could make it through my ps2 collection in 1 video it would have to be 2 unless I dont mention a single thing about any of the games.

it isnt THAT quick lol. If it only took me 15 minutes between setting everything up with proper lighting and editing and uploading I would put out more videos than I am now. Plus I actualy need time to play my games like I am right now :) I just gotta be in the mood to do the video too. Plus whats the fun of anticipation if I did all of my collection videos at once?

I just take the time to tweak the camera settings so it comes in as clear as I can get it. Another reason why I am not so quick on getting a capture card as I know that will probably be nowhere near as easy to use in terms of editing recorded footage in WMM.
