saw the Super Moon like three hours ago from there and it looked incredible! 3/19/11 Now we wait 18 years for the next one! Im from El Paso by the way
@vesnanna well, not all of us are pros at video editing. i just enjoy the beauty our earth provides for us. hard to capture all that it entails with a simple camera and original music. kind regards.
Hi, i was there in february 06 and feel sad about that no one was withs me to share this great fellings i had there, saw so many places in the USA but in White Sands had a impression i never had again on all journeys !
I was born there in Alamogordo (The old Gerald Champion Hospital which they tore down like 10 yrs ago ) in 1988 and moved away in 2004 . Now in stuck in some crappy city near houston and i hate it . There arent even any mountains for as far as i can see. No good sunsets either. New Mexico truly is the Land Of Enchantment.
@gabealexander88 I visited in Alamogordo in '07. Traveling to and from high dessert in New Mexico you can see various types of mountains, mesas, chupadero, organ mts, sandia, etc. Wish to someday go back and stay too. I totally feel you!
@marchky I love the southwest and although I'm not native to this area, something captivates me and pulls me closer and closer. as if to say come home we've missed you. :)
mc gregor range and wsmr. military black industrial complex. allot of genetic and tech facilities. i know. i work here. several reverse engineered alien craft that has been piloted by air force and other agencies into space. mass lie to public. but the area 51 is a joke cover. real s facilities and 51 are wsmr range and mc gregor range under ground.
@oterotularosa Judging from your command of the English language, you must be a rocket scientist at WSMR. How many reverse-engineered alien craft have you piloted? Since you don't mind giving away such awesome secrets on YouTube, why not post some photos or videos of these supposed spacecraft?
You want pictures, go walk into the desert and get them. I can type how ever I chose online and do any combination of half ass comments I want. After all, we still live in America? Don't we? Or wait you one of them Azlan give it back to Mexico people thinking under a false illusion living the Federal Mexico way is free way of living? I have posted links to photo's I took or others have under another alias. Since your big on doing "detective" work go find it.
A simple question of asking me where could one find pictures or video would have awarded you a link or email set of pictures. Lets not play stupid. Directly uploading here is obvious why most don't. Like they say, you could shit in a critics mouth yet he'd still insist it doesn't exist even though the shit is brewing in his mouth, seeing, tasting, smelling, believing. Waste of my time to even offer to a person of your nature. blocked.
Really fun place to just catch up with some friends watch the sunset sled done some dunes and just overall have fun the first time I went was one of the best times of my life I still have a sample in a Sobe bottle :)
My favorite time to go to White Sands is when they leave the park open til10 pm when there is a full moon. You have to go during light hours to witness the incredible sunset to the west and see the full moon (like BIG yellow cheese) coming out of the eastern mountains. The light is so bright you don't need light. Very romantic.................................
White Sands is so beautiful. I remember when I went there and played in the sand, and had to crap. I just buried my poop with a little sand. Then I saw some children playing in that area. I called the new vicinity Brown Sands, New Mexico.
It has a special place in my heart too. I miss NM, hope to see it again someday...first time i visited white sands i felt really overwhelmed...would love to stand on top of the dune again, watching the sunset and listen to the absolute silence...truly a place god made:-)
In 1982, I hitch hiked across the USA, and while I passed through New Mexico..I missed White Sands, but what I saw was indeed magic. I'll send you something I wrote about it.
Such beautiful pictures, & such beautiful music to go along with them!!
