I'm a new englander, but I lived out in Sothern California for about a year. I started to go crazy from the lack of rain. Then it started to rain, and I was in a good mood. On the other hand, my friend was driving slower than I do when it's snowing out here. I made fun of him the whole drive, and repeatedly asked him to let me drive, so it wouldn't take 4 times as long.

Hilarious, and so true. Every year when I see it raining in LA and I realize that they have no dams to store the water from their rain storms, it makes me sick. NorCal should stop sending them water!

During the Conan rally today, Conan came running to the studio and handed out pizzas to everyone. The very moment Conan entered the studio, it STOPPED RAINING!

OMG - lol, this is exactly what California is like. This same thing was a long standing joke between a HS friend of mine when we went to Knottsberry Farm. It literally started to finely mist outside from a couple of clouds and everyone ran inside or huddled under umbrellas. My friend and I were the only ones walking around outside (we're from Seattle - its rain for f***'s sake!) without any cover. When we got back to the hotel, it was on the news JUST like Conan described it - freaking awesome!
