  • "Look at that, that's a big joystick" That's what she said :p lol

  • I have the biggest joystick in the universe

  • My joystick is bigger than that.

  • The shedmaster wins over the pointmaster lol!!!!

  • I play with my gigantic joystick.

  • @Dolphinwigs o_O

  • Not a particularly great design...Now the Wico joysticks, on the other hand (no pun intended), were where it was at!

The Epyx 500XJ joysticks were easily a close second to the Wicos.

  • why dont you glue it to.... i dont know something??

Like what youdid with the xbox joystick.

Hmmmm... Joystick its a stick that provides you joy.... suspicious.

    OH i know! It's a dildo!!

  • thats my joystick

  • Before he said use super glue i was thinking it lol

  • 0:29 - That's what she said

  • Super glue a block of wood to the base, it'll give you more support.

  • why dont you glue it to a pice of wood

  • "Thats a big joystick!"

  • ScrewAttack commented on this video :o

  • My atari joystick has the bst rubber feet. I set it on top of my guinness book of world records and it sticks right on to it. :-)

  • do what you did with the xbox 360 joystick... glue it to a block of wood!

  • thays not as big the joystick in my pants ;)

  • @scatered1, good too know...

  • @scatered1 yah the pointmaster is probably bigger

  • I think a block of wood will solve the problems ;)

  • Yet again ducktape can solve all of our problems! ^_^

  • I just bought one of these at a resale store for $3. It isn't a bad controller (the wobble is indeed a problem, it makes your wrist sore pretty quickly), but I wish there was a button on the base, instead of just the one button on the top.

  • ive got a crack shot its sweet

  • I had one of those but I used it for a Commodore 64

  • I'll always prefere the EPYX third party controller. Forget if it had a nifty name. But, this thing cradled into your left hand and had a steel shafted joystick for the right and had true switches inside. First version's only flaw: Not friendly towards the left handed population. Sadly, the later revision that expanded towards the NES used short cuts in construction and didn't work so well.

  • LOL!! discwasher

  • haha, what you tried gluing it to a block of wood?

  • lol its the MadCatz of the 80's

  • i like the pointmaster better than the one it comes with

  • just look at this this is A BIG JOYSTICK!!!! lol its gigantic

  • thats what SHE said

  • @djminishoppie You can really get into games with it :-P

  • I have one like this, but it isnt as tall, it doesnt have the hole in the middle, and it gives you 3 buttons.

  • I never understand how these poorly designed controllers get made. Don't they test these things out before mass producing them? Nice review though

  • look for a black max made by wico. it never even got patented but ive still got one and my dad sold my atari years ago. very similer to that but seems better

  • lol i've got a atari 2600 the fat one but i cant find the controller and games :(

  • lilryanps3 same problem for me except the only friggen thing im missing is rf adapter and the joystic kis stiff but idk if its suppose to be because its old and i never played atari but it sounds beast

  • lol! i found the controller, so i'm like yay! but guess what? i cant find the atari lololol

  • I had one of these. I liked it alot.

  • It might be Pointless

  • SHEDMASTER

  • YAY ATARI 2600 =)

  • lets make a joke:

THE POINTMASTER, THAT IS MORE THE POINTLESS. AHAHAHAHAHHA

    lol

    cheesy joke

  • lol i love the controller reviews most, stella is funny :D

  • i had one of this in early 90th, and i think it's the best game-console controler ever =)

  • hmmm this controller could be used for left handed people

  • Suction cups was a good idea, but boy do they chafe in your hand. I got rid of them.

  • Not to mention the classic, "Zipstick".

  • you could use ductape instead of superglue/drilling :)

  • lol

  • there is a good one caled a slickstick

  • the original is way easier to handle

  • Wico was best.

  • A similar one came out in the UK, and that had suction cups on it, so it looks like they learned a lesson in the meantime.

Also it's good for south paws surely?

  • I had a controller like this, but it was called "Quick Silver" or something and it was pretty sweet. It had suction cups on the bottom so that baby wasn't going to move easily. It had two trigger buttons. One on the bottom and then one in front on the stick where you would wrap your fingers around.

That was a good controller, I wonder what happened to it though since I do have my paddles from back in the day even though one of them doesn't work very well anymore.

  • Why don't you use the block of wood trick like you did for the mad catz 360 arcade joystick?

  • guess we all know what's on YOUR mind...

  • i watched the video with that controller in my hand, i like it pretty much but there are better ones.. nice review..

  • COOL

  • you should use that for zaxxon!!

  • wow...you would think that the designers had some grasp of basic mechanics and the cocept of leverage;)

  • I vaguely remember my dad bought one of these after getting Enduro. He was disappointed when it turned out not to be analog, thus making it pointless.

I still have it, but I don't think it works anymore.

  • Nice review. I still have one of these too.

The best controllers of this era were the Wico Command Control joysticks. You can still find them on eBay.

  • I have never heard of this controller. But it cracks me up that discwasher makes the controller. They make my record cleaner and it works very well. Gets the dust right out of the grooves. But this controller dose not look so hot. Maybe if you made some kind of base for it it would be cool. It kinda reminds me of the Zaxxon arcade stick. Awesome video.

  • great review mark

  • I saw that in my local game store the other day

  • cool, lol the shed master

  • I also had one...I liked having the button on top of the stick, but the stick broke from too much heavy use.

  • great vid mark, thats was funny at the end ha ha the shed master!

  • i had one of those... must say i prefered it i ended up giving my original atari controller to my friend, but keeping on for friends to use

  • I never played atari i was always on nintendo plus i was the youngest so i had no say so in what we wanted u know

  • I havent played an atari since 80's !

  • my atari broke 7 years ago

  • Nice Review Mark, when I first saw that I thought it would have been a pretty good controller, How wrong I was.....

  • HAHAAHA thats awsome, F R I S T comment eh?

  • just like your comment

  • I was definitely replying to the idiot "first"ers.

  • It's all about the Genesis controller. Solves all of your problems in life.

  • Brilliant review, I would rather use some good old Atari Joysticks though.
