  • back in Utah. will post soon.

  • My favorite wild edible is FISH ! Build fish traps I never learned how to noodle for fish but I would love to learn that if it werent so dangerous here we have alligators all over the place I rather not go feeling around the water them critters would take your arm off.

  • Manoftruth, I agree that this thing cannot end well but every time I think that we are ready to go down the government does a shuffle and all the bad goes away. How long can they keep this up? I think me along with many others are feeling a bit of security where there really isn't any but it does seem to be doing better than a couple of years ago at least for some of us. I do fear that it is false though. How can we get this debt paid off unless we just default on it?

  • hi man

do you know why is the gold price going down and why is mainstream media promoting the 'gold price bust' idea??

its probably the best time to buy some gold until the price goes up again?

  • Any man(Glenn Beck) that calls Jesse Ventura a coward is either a complete moron or, well, ya, moron. No offense, but anything Glenn Beck related has no credibility with me- there are only two people on TV I will actually give a listen to when they're not being censored- Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura- no offense, man

  • @AirJuvi43 amen my brother, R.P. was omitted last election, this one the same thing will happen although mom says she'll vote for him, watch, he gets steam, and they will eliminate him.

  • Gold will not go under 1477 USD Buy now!!!

  • @TheDidiChannel If people are going to starve, buying gold would be flat out stupid. No one will give rats ass for gold if they can't get food. I'm sorry, i think many of you are just being taken advantage of, they're getting into this crazy crap based on fear. Food supplies are nice to have, and don't fault anyone for having a year or so supply. But the sky is falling chicken little crap, is loony toons, and so many are being taken advantage by it.

  • I sorry to hear and see that you were so sick and in the hospital. It looks like you are well. But, if you are still having problems may I please suggest....Well, I have the strange idea that you might have fructose malabsorption like myself. I used to juice and eat healthy, but it was only making me ill. Check out all of the symptoms...It is diagnosed with a breath test. I feel so much better now. Take care with whatever. Who do you think will be our next president?

  • "The greatest of these is love"

And remember the words of Almighty God:

"Peter, what I have made clean ye shall not call unclean"

  • Hey bro, you got something on your heart? You wanna confess? My job is to accept you. Only God can forgive you because He's the guy that makes the rules around here. What I can do is try to understand and accept you because if my God forgives you then I pretty much have to as well. Because He is great and i am small.

The great power we are invested with as humans is that we can love. It's the most powerful thing in the universe. That I know of. And I'm invested with several other powers.

  • Brothers and sisters, if I truly got what I deserve, I'm pretty sure it would have something to do with my head on a pike. I exist in a condition of mercy. And that's where the cool part comes in because not only do I try to love my neighbors, they are trying to love me right back and they aren't doing such a bad job of it. I really do feel loved and supported and joyful! Makes for some good times. Is it my job to forgive my neighbor? Why? What did they do wrong? We can help each other get right

  • I think "forgive" is different. Forgive means a washing-away of sins or transgressions like they didn't even happen. I think only God and perhaps through the agency of Yashua Hemmassiach can do that. Put another way, how am I supposed to forgive you if I don't even know you? Because only the One Above, the Holy One truly knows our hearts.

So where does that leave us?

Not in a condition of justice but a condition of mercy. I will continue.

  • So do you MOTsters mind if I jawbone you a bit more? Someone came to me for counsel today and they said "I need forgiveness".

Hmmm....well as usual there's the bad news and the good news. The bad news is we don't have a word for "forgive" in Llennape so you are kind of screwed there, but we do have a word for "dig a hole and bury it". And we also have a very passionate form of love and fidelity which states "I LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO".

  • Don't forget to blow off the dust on your old astronomy physics class at Harvard. Look in the area of Leo...Southern Cross Elenin. Fascinating info out there.

  • All you have to do now is shave your head and waa laa a modern day Yule Brenner

  • Oh my goodness that is gorgeous!!! Where is it?

  • Today, the dow was down again. Yeah, approx 200 points at noon. It was scary. Well, good to see some green. Get out of the concrete canyons.

  • Hey MOT, great to see you in nature bud....enjoy

  • Brent I think you, and some other folks here will find these stories interesting.

    telegraph.co.uk/finance/markets/7897389/Cocoa-king-Anthony-Ward-is-hungry-for-African-food-production.html

  • wild carrots are good too.

  • So you use to advocate stocking up on food and water filtration like GB, now you think we should just learn about local ediables or in conjunction with stored foods and seeds?

  • have china build a small city in the US

have them manage the ecoomy without US intervention

at least the factories will be in the US "Made in USA"

    rebuild your middle class

  • So, any books, you might recommend that do an excellent job of showing wild edibles?

  • Dandilions are very plentyful and incredibly healthy...very easy to identify also. Much better tasting in spring but can get quite bitter towards summer.

  • MOT is a D*CK FIEND! You heard it here first.

  • @ZiggleFingers LOL.......who is a what?

  • Yeah OK so I woke up today with the MOT teachings in my heart but desert survival has you eating a lot of animal protein in the form of bugs, snakes, lizards and here I am with eggs and ham and bread and butter. Hmmm....

We're not the only people involved in this discussion. The creepy-crawlies would likely prefer I stay home and have anything for breakfast but them.

    Hmmm....

  • MOT, This planet should be able to feed more then 7 billion with old technology. Some unseen force is de-industrializing and derailing growth so that aggregate production does not not clothe and feed everyone properly. Do you think we have hit the "carrying capacity" of the planet? is it something else?? What is the carrying capacity of the earth with your "wild edibles" solution? Not a personal attack and more power to you but I am questioning the realism of this approach.

  • @dx11101

Fascinating question, mind if I but in? Hunter-gatherers on this continent need vast amounts of land and very abundant resources so IMO we're way over capacity here now in those terms. In terms of "traditional agriculture" (which I'll just charactarize as horse-powered) we would indeed have to have a lot more people involved in food production on a daily basis and much closer, all around our homes. Modern techniques massively improve yields and we could currently feed everybody.

  • What will become apparent over the next twelve months is that the GOP candidates are at the shallow end of the gene pool, leaving only Obama as the only credible choice. This, of course, is no choice. By then, the economy will had slid even further into decline, making a Greek situation in the US more apparent. The experience of the 'Arab Spring' will inspire citizens to rebel against their governments. Imagine citizens marking on the the White House demanding Obama step down. It could happen.

  • Don't forget to wash the 'Rabies off the eatables' before you eat them. lol'

  • In the Southwest desert, one of the best indigenous scores are acorns and you are lucky to have a patch of scrub oak within walking distance. Not like your Eastern acorns, these are small but sweet, delicious! Gather enough and grind them and you got an incredible mole.

  • @OhNoyate Gracias mi amigo. Time to point people to the great site you put up.

  • what's up doc...

  • MOT, you'll still need protein. Leafy things only go so far, but it's a start.

  • @jcattera tell that to a silverback gorilla.

  • @jcattera I am with ya bro. Even after one meal of wild greens, I am ready for something more substantial. It;s just that in the famine that is coming to the US, much better to know the food all around you when the stores are all closed.

  • @manoftruth yes but we are going to directly address that for our people, aren't we elder brother? We won't let this come to pass for those we love, will we elder brother? Not if you and I have something to say about it, ain't that so elder brother? Not as long as we breathe, ain't that so elder brother?

  • Worst week of my life. I hope your doing much better than i

  • @odin422 Odin!!! one of my best subs!!!! Hope next week is better for you! Send me a message and I will call you if you like. Brent

  • @manoftruth your kind words warm my freshly broken heart, still a bit too freshly torn asunder to want to go into it more, love hurts, they say... They are right.

I'm always happy to see uploads from ya keep the sheeple informed brother. Perslane btw, that's my favorite. Better than dandelion greens =)

  • @odin422 Hey Odin. Thanks for the support. I will do a video in honor of you. Any subject you like that won't get me censored post haste.

  • @manoftruth I'd like to hear your thoughts on relationship's and children, and how easy it is for the family unit to self-destruct. Should be a flag-free vid =) tho u never know.

  • Prudent advice! Thanks again MOT.

  • @homesteadprepper Thanks for watching a leaving a comment. Tons of rain here in Utah this year= tons of wild food growing all over the place.

  • You want micro economy? Then strip off your Chinese-made clothes & drop your smartphone. I choose to swim in the sea of my birth.

  • Who's club house in the hillside?

  • Deep deep down inside you are surely part caveman, your message is both wise and to be taken very seriously, ROCK ON MOT!

  • It would be nice having less population and therefore more land per capita. MOT have you seen this -> watch?v=zIsHKrP-66s

  • Dock on MOT!

  • I love learning about nature especially wild edibles. I know of about 20 of them in my area I can live on. I was thinking of doing the 40 days and 40 nights in the forest living on wild edibles, but I need to learn more. Do you know of any good books that cover all of north america? Thanks!

  • do more videos' on this topic please thank you :) Nicole

  • I admire this, MOT. Thanks, bro.

  • Very cool truth. thanks.

  • I've found some yellow dock in my back yard-- along with hazelnut-- although, the squirrels are better adapted for climbing than I am. I'll need to make a log pole with something at the end to reach and clip off the nutsack. ;)

I've added wild edibles to my diet for a few good reasons. Manzanita seeds are abundant here, and mucho vitamin C when ripe~! Brought some rosemary back from a job site. Will be making rosemary foccaccia bread toNIGHT with nasturtium and goat cheese~!

    Thanks MOT~!
