oh I almost forgot, I wanted to ask u how much did u pay for the fake, cause I wouldn't mind getting a great fake that looks the same for a cheap price but if the ebay seller charges u "Mac" prices for a fake then I would get very upset. I have seen some ebay sellers sell Mac 187 brushes for the same price or more than Mac actually charges for them which is outrageous.
@Puddycat11385 I bought quite a few and didn't pay more than £4 for any of them:) I was lucky that the brushes were great quality as well as cheap. Some of the prices on eBay are ridiculous lol
if I buy any brushes on ebay I always take them to get it verified, for example I bought a Nars Yachyio brush from a seller for $16.99 and I actually took it to a Nars store and they checked it and said it was real. I didnt tell them I bought it on ebay I just asked the person to authenticate it or let me know if its fake. The seller guarantees that all her brushes are authentic or your money back and I was pleasantly surprised cause the yachyio is $50 at Nars. Too bad she doesnt sell Mac brushs
you guys this is so funny. fake mac and the real mac comes from china. 90% of the cosmetics any brand names made in china. they are great. I used to spend thousands of dollars on brand name cosmetics and I been trying the fabricated products they are so good some are better than real ones.
@Jordanlovesmakeup1 Yes, I would wash them first. Just give them a go and see how they are. I was lucky getting really good fakes. Fingers crossed yours will be good too xx
as long as they get the job done i really dont mind.. as long as you know what you doing with the brushes...you'll look nice the brush dont make the difference the make up kind of does and the person applying it to. if they know what the hell they doing or not .i think u should get the realbrushes if you really good in make up or u one of those people that cant live one freaking day with out make up.
Those brushes look fab even tho they rnt real... I eould love to buy them... Who sold them to you??! I would be extremely grateful if you got nack to me because i cant afford the real ones and those look fab... Again.. Please get back to me... Thanks!
Ok. The brushes may not be authentic MAC, but they are real makeup brushes. Just make sure you clean them well before you use them and never use a blow dryer to dry them. They are real brushes just not from MAC. I own 2 sets of them and cannot complain. I knew they weren't real but who can beat 68 makeup brushes for $20?
Well, I wasn't quite as lucky when I bought mine. They were absolute rubbish quality and could tell they were faker straight away, they didn't even have the no.s on them! I'm so upset as I paid allot of money for them, which is why I expected them to be real. Some people have no morals
I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with your Mac brushes. Did you buy them on eBay? If you did you can report the seller and claim your money back if you paid through Paypal.
When you buy an authentic Mac brush you pay for the brand name not necessarily the quality, as I have seen wannabes/ fake brushes can be make just as good and costs are very low. Who is the real wolf here now? Only thing that bothers me about fakes is when they are deliberately sold by greedy people as originals.
I have a brush bought from ebay that looks just like a MAC brush and is the same amazing quality that costs me 70% less money. Honestly at this point I feel ripped off by the MAC company itself;
I just checked, all 15 of my mac brushes that I have bought at the mac store have black handles with tiny sparkles in it. So you can't base it all on that.
Just going on my own experience and what I have learned from other YouTubers. You really need to have a real one and a fake one to be able to compare properly though. The real ones are definitely much blacker I can assure you and all the ones I bought on eBay are definitely fake.
Guess if it's cheap & sounds too good to be true it probably is eh?? Like you say it's not like knowingly buying fake makeup cause you don't know what's in that.
i saw some Mac products before on ebay..and a lil bit cheaper so I told my bf living in US that I think I should get the Mac from ebay cos it's cheaper..But he told those are fake.
Very interesting. i dont mind fake goods... lol i am prob going to get bashed for saying that but almost everything fake or not is made in china! who was the buyer?
I got a fake 187 brush off ebay as well and it worked really well until the colour ran after I'd washed it a few times. Not really work the discount when your makeup has a grey tinge from dye lol.
Thank you...great video, recently bought a fake mac brush, hopefully it will be good quality :)
