I tried these settings, but once I rendered one of my vids (4 mins long), the size is 1GB!!! That just can't be right. How can I decrease that size to less than 75-80MB and still make it an HD vid?

What is the size in MB fof HD video in lengt of 1 minute?

I'm not sure. You can test it. Find a video of 1 minute or cut one down and then render it.

i fount that real HD quality is huge file in size

and for my shity upload its not the option.I render videos now in wmv ,6 mbps template.And after uploading YT shows video like HD

check some my videos to see.Qulity is not so good but also not so bad and file size is resonable for my upload

You have to wait a few minutes for YouTube to encode it to HD.

well i click upload video, then my computer freezes for about 5 minutes.

then, a red box appears next to the browse button (i think) saying 'an unknown error has occured'

Makes sure the file is not over 1gig. If it is, then it will not upload due to YouTube's standards.

I have uploaded a video through windows movie maker before, so im trying, putting the video from vegas onto move maker and publishing it in 720p, with the HD resolution settings, hopefully this will work

It takes a while for the video to encode in high quality and HD quality. Just wait a few minutes and it should show up.
