i can get terminal to work but it always says access denied. when i type login is asks for user and password i type alpine but it still doesnt work. Ne one know how to fix.

Hey I need to explore my way to an App that's in the Root/Applications/ folder and change it's permission to 777 =\ I know how to get to root but then I'm stuck =\ I don't know how to go app but I know that I must use chmod 777 to change it =\ any ideas? and I can only use this application to do so...

when i start up termvt100, it asks for a username and password. i tried "root-alpine" and that didnt work so can anybody help me?

yea mine works, what i did was uninstall termvt100. then i installed it again and without opening it i installed SUID Lib Fix for 1.1.3 only. then when it opens it should say password again and all u have to type in is "alpine" without the quotes and it shoudl work
