  • What do you think of our New Asshole Governor Synder.....?

  • This is a lull before the next crash and the Greatest Depression the world has ever seen.

Look at a chart of the great depression 1935 through 43.

There was a temporary ramp up in the stock market in 1937 after the "New Deal" spending that Hoover started at the end of his term and Roosevelt continued. They are the exact same scenario.

The problem with your criticism is that both parties overspend for different reasons.

  • I like to hear both sides but guess what, you are so wrong on this. You make no sense whatsoever. Taxes need to be cut not because the "rich will work harder and 14 hour shifts" like you stated, cause you know that won't happen but based on the fact that people will have more of their own $ to spend and save. ralph there is more to this and if there is a way you and I can have a civil conversation - let me know cause I'd love to! :)

  • ahhhh ahhhhh? Do you really care ron? lol. The way the government is acting now, the Unemployment rate is going to go up. Ronald Regan talked the talked but didn't walk the walk. Under Regan the government doubled in size. I think the major difference between Regan Economics and "free markets" is the idea that you need to allow everyone to retain the money that they earned. Upper, Middle, and Lower class alike. Regan really only gave the break to the upper class.

  • I wasn't going to watch this but I saw all the thumbs down

So I was able to confirm you do know what you're talking about

    thumbs up

  • Bush43 failure

    Bush41 failure

    Reagan failure

    Nixon failure

Ron Paul's Republican party sucks - stop with cute game-playing arguments..

  • I refuse to hush up. It's my duty and my right. And the Dems are good?

    Come on.

  • Hush up and fix your crumby, corrupt, lying, interventionist, deficit-spending party...

  • @Ralphdraw3 All of your examples follow the Keynesian economic school of thought. Ron Paul follows the Austrian school of economics. If one does have a comprehensive knowledge of both, one cannot know the difference.

Ron Paul argues against both parties when it comes to economics. You put him in Reagan’s camp but you are wrong.

  • And you don't? You Baby Boomers dropped the ball.

I have hope in the young folks, they're always revolutionary types.

    Inflation, whoopee!

(food riots, tax rebellion, get your guns!)

  • Ouch, ha ha.

    I hope Dr. Paul's wrong.

  • Cultist chiming in:

I hope your right and Paul is wrong.

I'm preparing for the worst. Got my dry food, water, guns, etc.

Hunker down folks it's going to get rough.

    Time will tell.

  • I'm not a Cult Member but I do beleive in Free Market Economics, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from the Oppression we are all feeling because of Govt. Intrusion!!!!!!

  • You must believe in, as well, unemployment, poverty, scams and rip-offs, deception in advertising, bankruptcy and people losing their savings and their pensions etc..

    Kiss RPaul's feet for me!!

  • 6% of Unemploment is a given steady rate. Do you know why? Its b/c of Govt. Handouts, hence intrusion in the free market.

  • i am married. have a 7 yr old and 1 on deck, work 8 hrs a day, and support ron paul. because of this i am in a cult?????????????cut back on your hours watching the idiot box. you have no concept of politics. you dont understand even the (basics) of money. ron paul speaks on ludwig von mises and robert taft.. he has to use names like reagan for inside the idiot box thinkers like you. austrian economics involves little government. do you like the government? do they tuck you in at night? wake up!!

  • Kiss and bless the writings of Von Mises and Robert Taft... You have found the Holy Grail, you lucky person. (I love Austrian economics, although I have never been to Austria!!)

  • Please read about economics. I think it's better when vocal people like yourself are educated.

Full employment = malinvestment, especially when inefficient jobs exist from the confusing indicators caused by artificially - low interest rates.

What happened in the 70's? Inflation AND unemployment. Do you know how big the federal government got during that decade?

Anyway, it's nice to see you are angry because Americans should be, we've been manipulated for a long time. But learn a little more

  • What happened in the 70's? Inflation AND unemployment. Do you know how big the federal government got during that decade?

    @@@

Question for you and the Paul-heads:

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PRICE OF OIL IN THE 1970'S BECAUSE OF THE O.P.E.C. OIL CARTEL?

  • The price of oil went up for a few reasons, one is the collusion of OPEC.

It doesn't seem like you have a clear argument or any real opinions about public policy. Which is a shame since you are motivated to publish videos and write comments, etc.

    Read some books.

  • Yep another pissed off jew

  • Another angry, uneducated White Male at You Tube, and a member of the Ron Paul cult.

  • allllright your just on a roll,I wounder how many times you have said that and been wrong LOL Man you jews just have no idea whats comming seems like the whole world are against jews right now for some reason or another..Oh it is the year of the RAT humm and there are alot of (whistle-blowers) comming up to the surface. The propaganda machine is in overdrive

  • Anti-semite too??? Would you care for a little Hitler and some fascism with that?

  • Thats a good little jew when someone disagrees with you and don`t see the jews as their god (satan) chosen pesants they call you a Anti-semite.Hitler was a failure and no you can hold the fascism just bring on the ovens

  • hating jews!! The RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!!

  • Hey. Why do you feel so threatened by sweet little Ron Paul that you have to make an attack video (the pictures qualify you)? Looks like we are going to get a chance to try out your economic model--so why are you complaining? Let's see what happens with all of of your subsidizing industry (bailout).

  • I need more views on my videos -

and I am so tried of the lame-ass theories of Ron Paul which seem to dominate You TUBE..

  • Your You Tube channels sucks - leave You Tube and stick to listening to AM Radio. It's on your level...

  • I don't see how your point is relevant.

  • Why is this a sponsored video???

  • People should know the truth about Ronald Reagan and Ron Paul...

  • Probably because Ralphdraw3 arranged for it to be.

  • Ralphdraw3 is the cancer that is eating the earth.

  • Dumb post deleted;

    true story..

  • speaking ability of a 5th grader. Repeat the phrase crystal ball more and add more cynicism that will do the trick.

  • Your channel is at the level of a 4th grader.. blocked

  • better yet have you read the Constitution? you mention unemployment a lot...yea I've been unemployed for close toa year before..I know first hand..its bad. but, I have not seen anywhere in the Constitution where the Government has the power granted to it to empoly all Americans. It only grants power to protect Life and Liberty. I'll take my chances living off the land verse living in a total control centrail planing state any day of the week and twice on the day I missed a meal.

  • The constitution gives the power to the Federal government to oversee and maintain ports, waterways, and transportation between the states.

If you believe otherwise, you and Doc Paul take the National Highway Transportation Authority to court as being an unconstitutional entity..

  • inflation does not eat away at gold and silver. in "fact" gold and silver is a hedge aginst inflation. you harped on "magnus" and rightfully so...but if you read Dr. Pauls book "magnus" is not a staple of his messege. moreover, look up unemploment%'s during the time the US was on a 100% gold and silver standerd. that being 1834 to 1913. all be it there was a blip in the Lincoln years. go into Ludwig Von Mises, Hayek and Rothbard. or even Subejective Theory of Value.Look outside the Keynes box.

  • Whoever has the biggest pile of gold and silver wins.... kind of like Scrooge in Dickens...

  • will you or will you not read about Mises, Hayek and Rothbard? or how about Austrian Economics as a whole. What about reading Dr. Pauls book? Its called "The Revolution A Manifesto"...Do you read anything other that Keynes theorys or Marx??

  • I bow down and kiss the feet of Mises, Hayek and Rothbard... frequently..

  • This bone head speaking has a right to speak his views however wrong they may be. None the less he along with millions of others are eating crow each passing day. Jobs lost are a result of thinking like this man speaking. People fighting for the upholding of the constitution and the very freedom that allows this man to openly speak are enormous. Use to jobs were lost due to bad management and government regulations. Most people do not want to do the research to find out this information.

  • Even though you don't like Ron's ideas, he deserves better than to be portrayed like Che Guevara as he is a staunch anticommunist. I would think you'd still admire his honesty and dedication. He was against NAFTA which is probably why your area lost most of it's manufacturing base.

  • Ron Paul is dedicated to greed and selfishness...

  • Is that why (him being greedy) many of the 4,000+ babies he has delivered her did so for free? Is that why he is the only Congressman who returns money each year to the congessional office as well he hasn't participated in the congressional pension program or taken a government paid junket. What's he done that's greedy? You sound like a communist and I don't throw that word around lightly.

  • income from a job won't mean much when the money has little buying power.

  • blocked and deleted

  • actually gold goes up when there is inflation.

  • yeah, usually,

You got a lot of gold?

  • Well I am in the gold refinery business, so yes I own a lot of gold. I recommend you do the same because prices will jump once the monetary base has increased.

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

THE MORE GOLD THE WORLD HAS, THE SHINIER AND BETTER PLACE IT WILL BE...

    keep up the good work...

  • Cry me a river, cry me a river ...

Unemployment is great when it happens to ignorant people like you. I'm not worried about inflation. I believe in self-reliance and I bought gold/silver to protect my wealth - inflation/deflation will not change the fact that I own real money. I'd explain why you're so wrong but I actually enjoy it when ignorant people get what's coming to them. When the collapse comes, I'll hire you and pay you a copper penny to blow farm animals for my amusement.

  • Yeah, you Paul-heads are greedy, selfish A-holes..

    Thanks for watching...

  • yeah.... soon you will be employed and working for $150 a hour when a gallon of gas is $500 a gallon. But you will be employed. Good luck pal.

  • Ron is not a supply-sider, nor has he ever voted for an unbalanced budget.

    You are a fucking dumbshit.

  • I thought Ron Paul likes tax cuts (increasing money supply and the debt).

I thought Ron Paul liked Ronald Reagan - the King of Deficit spending.

  • The reason you have a Rust Belt is NAFTA and CAFTA....which the dear President Clinton put in place...His group are the reason we are where we are today...Your manufacturing jobs have gone overseas!!

  • Does NAFTA affect trade with China and Japan?

  • waste of time...

  • Ron Paul is God - make him King of the World...

  • that sounds nice and it would be much better than king obama or king bush or king mccain, but you missed one of ron's main points. he doesn't want to be king. he doesn't want to run the country. he doesn't want to run your life.

he doesn't want to be king.

either way, everything you just said in this video is a waste of oxygen.

    Marx is dead, fucker.

  • You Paul-heads make Paul make King and Savior of the nation and the world!!! Do it right here at Youtube!!!

Marx is making a comeback - people really are beginning to hate the rich capitalist con-artists on Wall Street.

  • Inflation doesnt eat away gold and silver...I was listening till you said that witch is complete BS.

  • How true -

The price of gold and silver affected by two main things: Demand, i.e. if the demand for gold and silver declines, like say during a recession, their prices will drop. And Supply - i.e. if there is a frenzy of gold mining and processing, and the supply of gold increases, then the price of gold will drop.

However, I was also using the words gold and silver to refer to "WEALTH" in general. Ron Paul seems VERY CONCERNED about the wealthy retaining their wealth and remaining wealthy.

  • WHILE Ron Paul couldn't care less for the rest of us - the non-wealthy and non-rich..

    Thanks for watching...

  • Right, Ron Paul does not want them to fold. Isnt that the point? The jist is, that it is not suitable to create money and tax us for it to give to failing businesses. The thing, is that if the company fails, like my company did, than it fails. You cant expect unrelated people to pay for it... so that it can continue. I think we can all agree, that unemployment is also the fault of over regulating the common man, and deregulating the major corps.

  • Your company failed???

You mean you failed and you're a failure? You made a "mistake"?

And all the people, who are now unemployed, made mistakes and are failures. And that is punishment for making a "mistake" (i.e. getting a job and working for company...)

  • risk sucks doesnt it. Yes, they are failures because they only know how to do things that do them well in a consumer based living style. In other words, maybe it would do them better to know what to do if that company never existed to begin with. These are the only types of things that matter. Things of survival... and things of compassion. If someone fails, than it is up to you to individually make the attempt to help them out. If you are forced to charity, than it is not admirable.

  • failure sucks...

hunger sucks... recessions suck... sickness sucks, accidents suck... being ugly sucks...

    BEING PRETTY IS GREAT!!! LOLZ

Being born into wealth is wonderful!!!

And being a multi-millionaire IS HEAVEN!!!!

I sense that you are kind of clueless.. maybe you need to live a for more years and experience more "failures" and "accidents"...

  • "They havent really convinced anyone outside of youtube.." doesnt that pretty much debunk anything you say since it is not true? If you are wrong about that.. than what else could you be wrong about?

In all honesty, maybe some of what you say is true, maybe it is wrong. Either or, i think you are more into the business of trying to step on toes.. since you did say "I sense that you are kind of clueless..etc.." doesnt exactly sound like a "greetings.. im a friend, check this out!" no welcome!

  • Paul is making no in-roads into the Republican party base - which is pro-war war/ interventionist

Ron Paul's thinking is very simplistic - and shockingly so, in fact. Paul, like Reagan, says government is the problem and can do no right. And he, like Reagan, will fail. (You probably don't know about how the "Reagan Revolution" failed. You should look at the Reagan years closely to see how the small government people failed - the size of the federal government under Reagan grew dramatically.)

  • he is a conservatives of couse he votes against spending. also he would fix the economy by ending the federal reserve and once the economy is resored then the jobs come back after he attempts to fix all he can that is in his control.

  • The American economy was doing JUST FINE from 1945 through 1970 EVEN UNDER THE FED.

As a matter of fact, during the post-war period more Americans began to own homes and cars and televisions and phones etc... than any other time in the history of the country.

There was a tremendous creation of wealth during this period... perhaps the best economic period in the history of the nation EVEN UNDER THE FED...

  • exactly, we just do things to prolong the depression/recession. all major wars we have been in we had the fed there to help us out to finance the war(s).

  • Wrong - there were plenty of economic recessions, panics and crises before the Fed was formed.

  • That is exactly right... there were recessions, panics and crises before the FED. But there were actions taken by the FED that made the recession of the 20s a decade-long depression, including tightening the Gold supply when America's dollar was still tied to gold and silver.

  • How could the FED possibly control the supply of gold? If people were mining gold in the United States and importing gold into the country?

  • Are you serious? Most of the gold has been mined. That's why the value of gold stays ROUGHLY flat (there is gold being mined every day, but in comparison to what is in the market, it's not enough to impact from one year to another).

When FDR took office, two of the first things he did was to 1) Declare a bank holiday and 2)CONFISCATE gold, which was put down as collateral on our borrowing spree which became the National Debt. This gold is no longer in the market, driving up its price.

  • i said MAJOR

  • it's cus lots of his followers just go "yeah Fed is bad, end it!" without looking into WHAT makes it bad.

Anyways, as for you inflation/unemployment argument goes, the thing is that in the long-run inflation won't cure unemployment. in the long-run if you try to do that, you'll get both inflation AND high unemployment.

  • The dollar was still tied to gold and silver until 1973 when Richard Nixon signed the bill into law which severed the United States from the Gold Standard.

He did this because many people were still making bank runs turning in their dollars for real gold and silver. The difference in value at the time were making problems because we were running our government on deficit spending.

TODAY we are running on deficit spending (to the FED) as well as borrowing from other countries.

  • I started farming on the deck and the rooftop of a small apartment and then stepped up to a small condo. Most of the 'farms' I design are in heavy metropolitan areas. I just came from giving a workshop/lecture design/build in downtown los angeles.

We designed and built a self-sustained, bio-dynamic, permaculture farm that will feed 14 people year-round in the back corner of a parking structure right in the heart of the fashion district.

  • There actually isn't any real earth (soil) for several miles of the area so we imported and poured several layers of soil atop the asphalt parking structure and drip-lined it for maximum water conservation.

There are 2 kinds of pineapples, 5 kinds of bananas, 4 kinds of avocados, about 18 other fruits, greens, beens, sprouts, plus about 35 kinds of vegetables.

  • We also set up the drip system on solar powered timers and converted the make-shift housing structure/ "loft" under the parking structure to run on solar with a back-up wind-turbine asst. with a 12,000 watt emergency vegi oil generator.

The guy's really into goat cheese / fetta etc (he's greek) so we constructed a pen stocked with 6 goats and taught him to make 3 kinds of goat cheese using vegetable rennet instead of the cows intestine rennet used to make 99% of cheese.

  • In a few weeks we will construct several greenhouses and a corn-cob and straw bail guest quarters in the lot down the street.

Not really trying to attain perfection, just trying to help myself, my family and my fellow man and break out from the slavery/control of the powers-that-be and the corrupt bank controlled dual-party (single party) political system along the way ;-)

  • Some of the best 'farms' I have seen (and designed) were in the backyards of single family 2 and 3 bedroom tract homes.

  • we have not had this kind of inflation from the 80's that's insane. Do you happen to know how the federal reserve works??? Just saying educate yourself from more sources than your neocon magazines, fox, cnn...and your ass.

  • I know that we have, in my state, a 9% unemployment rate and increasing poverty.

Ron Paul hasn't said a thing about either problem. In fact, I assume Ron Paul wouldn't mind that the unemployment rate, homelessness and business failures go up...

  • Supply and demand. The supply of desperate people seeking employment drives their salaries down. Ronny Paully Walnuts is just Reagan in Libertarian clothing.

  • So do I have to listen to your rants? Do you want to hear the truth? List your specific questions. Listening to just the first bit of this subject... you're obviously unaware of what causes what or the economy. infaltion = unemployment.

  • wrong -

we have low inflation - we have had low inflation (of basic commodities) since the 1980's, and we still have high unemployment.

    try again...

BTW - I get truth, wisdom and information from more than ONE SOURCE - i.e. I listen to people other than Doc Ron Paul..

  • You get your info from your ass!!

  • You're insanely stupid.

  • Ron Paul was one of six Republicans to vote against the Iraq War Resolution!

    The War in Iraq Costs

    $581,055,880,189

  • Republicans aren't very bright as a group, are they??

  • 'Bout a half notch more lucid than dems ;-)

  • I'd like to your lucid butt in Iraq... with the other kids and misfits..

While Dumbya and Cheney play golf...

BTW if your comments remain stupid, I might have to take "pre-emptive" action.. ;-)

  • Whatevas man. Lighten up. Maybe you need more fiber in your diet. Just trying to wake you up a bit... They say "you can't teach an old dog new tricks..." They are usually right. Good luck to you and your preemptive strikes city slicker.

By-the-way I lived in Baghdad for 3 years on a scholarship studying Persian and Arabic classical music and was the chief consultant renovating 2 displays in the Baghdad museum. Of course that was back in the day before things turned sour.

  • Great music scene there though... At least used to be. The museum was not half bad either... The behind-the-scenes access/exposure was something to behold. The was a rumor among the asst. curator and the chief archeologist that the "Ark of the Covenant" was stashed away there in the sub-basement... Things like this always make me wonder...

P.S. Good to know that you support the Iraq war (your statement; "I'd like to your lucid butt in Iraq." proves this.)

  • I was always suspicious of you...

    Anywho happy solstice Ralphie-boy.

  • P.S. Good to know that you support the Iraq war (your statement; "I'd like to your lucid butt in Iraq." proves this.)

    @@@

I highly recommend that you look at my other videos at my channel - certainly regarding Bush and Cheney.. - it will take less than 5 minutes.. LOL...

But you, as with ALL Paul-Heads, are truly an impressive character and you have a stunning resume...

Happy Soltice and may the bio-diesel keep flowing...

  • Wishing someone to Iraq (as you did) shows support, joke or not. I have never supported the war and have never 'liked anyone's butt in Iraq...' I've seen many of your vids and actually had 3 posted on 4 of my other channels (pre-suspension) one of them (the call to Paul) had 300,000+ views. I credited you of course.

Senility must be setting in there Ralphie-boy. We just discussed my anti-Paul stance yesterday...

  • The funniest thing I find about the the liberals and dems like yourself is that they are so 'against Dick and Bush' and so 'against the war' and proclaim their undying nonsupport of The System and the Fed and yada yada, then just after their immature, hypocritical, ridiculous little rant and little Youtube vid they go shopping at the grocery store just after they stopped and filled their tank with petrol imported by Dick, Bush, OPEC and The System personally.

  • I bought my last gallon of petrol in 1971. I have been growing 85-100% of my own food since 1973.

I am 100% of the grid and produce 100% of my own power since 1971.

My vehicles, generators and equipment are all fueled with fuel I produce myself from used cooking oils or bio-diesel that has been sustainably grown and harvested.

I don't support the big corps, big power, big oil/OPEC or the GOP.

You, the dems and hypocrites alike on the other hand are their slave until the day you die.

  • I do love hearing about your farm.

Sadly, I don't have a farm. Neither do 99% of the people I meet in any given year. (However, I do know an accountant who runs his car on cooking oil...)

Clearly, You have attained perfection - so why bother with us lowly peons at Youtube?? Live on your farm - you are the supreme master.. or bring Ron Paul to the farm or Bernanke or Paulson!!!

As long as you don't support the GOP, you are doing the nation a great service!!!

  • This guy clearly... clearly does not have a clue on so much... I support you.

  • He called it on the Paul fraud pretty damn early on though. Gotts to give 'em that.

  • The funniest thing I find about the the liberals and dems like yourself is that they are so 'against Dick and Bush' and so 'against the war' and proclaim their undying

    @@@@

Most of us opposed the war - actively - in 2002 and 2003 FROM THE BEGINNING. That is a heck of a lot better than the vast majority of clueless fair-weather patriot Americans who cheered Bush and his stupid war, and the balless, corporate American media who facilitated the war.

  • I'm with you on this one though... I give credit where due.

  • The democrats aren't much better... theyw oulda spent it in other areas.

  • This is classic idiocy. All of a sudden, according to this ass clown it's Ron Paul's fault that the Federal Reserve created this bubble? Get real you idiot. Oh and inflation is more important than temporary job losses. When you have a debt based monetary system, and our government and people are so indebted that nobody can pay anything back. You are gonna welcome the Obama-socialism because he'll keep you working like a slave in his system.

  • Ass Clown:

Who made a ton of money off the "bubble"???

  • And inflation is more important than homelessness, joblessness

    and

    hunger????

  • I couldn't imagine a dumber video. That's probably why his name isn't on it. When does RP say he doesn't care about the employment rate? Anyone who understands the Austrian econ that RP speaks of knows that inflation drives unemployment UP in the long term, not down.

  • Austrians don't even believe in the Austrian school of economics!!!

    LOL

  • Thanks Ralphdraw3, don't be discouraged.

  • Ralphdraw3=FAIL

Clearly all of you're rambling shows you haven't done too much research on Ron Paul and how many times he's been right on what's going on today. Pick up some books on economics you dope.

  • Ralph, you just lost a fan, that's for sure.

Why don't you spend your time figuring out how the bad policies of the people who actually implemented them have effected us.

As for "Ron's crystal ball", it's called common sense, you idiot.

As for Reagan and Bush, paul has said over and over that the republican party has lost their way. He says the do not act like republicans anymore.

Instead of bashing someone with ideas, give us YOUR solutions, dickhead!

  • Amen to that!

  • Our recession/depression will be directly linked to unemployment or vice versa. I think the internet has to much unbiased info/news for you. So, why dont you go turn on fox news and get your biased info from them and stop posting.

  • This video sucks

  • Get this through your heads: MONETARY POLICY is the root of all our ills right now. Dr. Paul is merely trying to redirect us to the real issue causing unemployment and lowered savings. The banksters and monied interests are trying to distract us with their holy wars and nationalistic strife. Watch for free on google video: "The Money Masters" ... It could change your views.

  • the inflation problem is what has precipitated the job loss. One shouldn't subsidize industry because it limits competition and it encourages bad practices. This is because with the money flowing in from taxpayers(subsidy), rather than self-innovation (free market), there is no correction against bad business practices because the govt just gives more money when the business begins to fail. watch a free documentary: "the money masters". Then you can see the real enemy and what Dr. Paul is about

  • I have never worked for any corporation or job. I have always been self employed and do very well for myself under a free market system. People who want to have JOBS are just lazy in my opinion.

  • Really?

How's your business in this recession?

  • I'm aware of your sarcasm but it has no place in a serious discussion. I work from my converted garage/shop and have for the past 22 years. Business has highs and lows, but this is one of the worst lows I have ever witnessed

I believe Jobs should be used only as a means to gain capital, not to hang onto for years and a lifetime

  • fail

  • You have the right to speak like everyone else, but Ralph, you really should do more research on these subjects. Subjects like economics and U.S. political history before you present your half-baked ideas about Ron Paul and the financial problems we all face today.

Dr. Paul is trying to help us, although main stream media TV would have us think just the opposite.

They belittle Dr. Paul because they are very afraid of his honesty and directness.

Dr. Paul is telling the truth.

  • I have done plenty of "research" and reading...

I find the Republican party disgusting.

They are greedy, reckless, incompetent, dangerous - filled with NeoCon rightwing loonies... and Ron Paul continues to call himself a Republican

AT THE LEAST, Ron Paul could LEAVE the corrupt/ elitist Republican party and call himself an indepedent (a la Bernie Sanders of Vermont). I sense the Ron Paul doesn't have the courage to do this.

Paul's refusal to support the impeachment movement is APPALLING

  • I haven't heard anyone more ignorant than the person speaking in this video. Do you really think inflation will not cause unemployment? Do you really believe that USA truly have a free market right now?

Try to understand at all money created by the Fed is a federal deficit which started in 1913, not during the Reagan Presidency. The IRS collects our money to pay for this deficit, constantly.

I welcome you to write me if you think you have some facts about anything, especially economics.

  • The government has caused most of the issues you talk about. Central economic planning has never lasted. Keynesian economics is a failure. Markets will determine unemployment rates, interest rates, with sound money. Ron quit congress in the early 80's due to his disgust of Reagan's policies. Ron was never a supply-sider. Keep educating yourself. The crystal ball says we are screwed!

  • The Constitutional Cult.

  • Yeah, the "cult" that our founding fathers started... the "cult" that the English try to fight and lost.

Oh no! I belong to that cult too. All patriotic Americans do!

Right on! Keep on culting America... LOL

  • About half of the founding fathers were

    Slave Owners....

    i.e. they were imperfect

  • youre an idiot. read and educate yourself before making sweeping comments like these. im pissed i wasted my time listening to half your argument trying to discern any logical message. its near sighted morons like youself who our present day 'leaders' prey upon. grow up peter pan.

  • And you're educated?? you don't sound educated at all..

  • The reason facism arose in Germany after WWI was because of the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles, and the actions the Weimar Republic took to meet those terms. Massive devalution of the currency to pay war debt. Hitler took advantage of that situation and misled the German people. He was a monster, but the people of Germany were desperate and just didn't realize it, until it was too late...

But there's a good example of what runaway inflation does to a country, Germany in this case.

  • And how about China?

What caused the Chinese revolution? what caused them to go for communism?

  • Are you out of your mind? It's the Japan invasion in WWII and the support of the Soviet Union (CCP supported by the Soviet Union, KMT supported by the United States).

It has almost nothing to do with economy at all.

  • of the Soviet Union (CCP supported by the Soviet Union, KMT supported by the United States).

It has almost nothing to do with economy at all.

    @@@@@

It didn't have to due with massive and horrible poverty in the vast rural areas of China? and the famines? and the rich and corrupt rulers of China during WWII and before

  • Article posted to your email, if you're interested. Hope you understand...

  • No, I am not interested in the minutia of the gold standard.

I am interested in Ron Magnus Paul's predictions about the length of the recession and the levels of unemployment that will result.. I know this is a taboo subject with the free marketeers...

  • Yes you're right, and until some significant percentage of the people do understand more about currencies as Dr. Paul is trying so honestly to tell us, your government will exploit that ignorance in the elections.

Congress is counting on the ignorance of the U.S. citizen to get away with much of what they do.

But the truth is there. It's not found on one page of one book. I truly wish it was.

Check your email for a link to a short article.

  • If you don't have to study the subject of currencies or economics then you need to stop attacking things you don't understand...

  • You got to do better than that:

85% of the American people don't understand currencies and macro-economics...

  • Ralphdraw3 needs to study (in detail) U.S. economic history and the history of world currencies. Until he's done this, he won't understand who to blame and why.

Ron Paul tells us in his books, but Ralphdraw3probably wouldn't believe it, coming from Dr. Paul.

Ok then, read both Keynes and von Mises, (in detail) and he'll soon see what's going on...

Again, Congress is the rat in the corn bin.

Quit TV (like smoking) and start reading if you want to find out who's screwing the people.

  • I don't have time to waste reading an entire Ron Paul paperback book.

You give me the book title and the page number concerning UNEMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE...

  • To fix structural unemployment we need to fix the educational system... which I believe would best be done by state vouchers.

Anyway, Ron Paul's solutions would decrease unemployment, so I don't understand why this guy is attacking him unless he simply doesn't understand the economics behind unemployment.

And to answer the question, "healthy" unemployment would be around 3-5% (basically seasonal + frictional unemployment).

  • Does this guy understand anything about capitalist economics?

There are 4 types of unemployment:

    frictional, cyclical, seasonal, and structural.

Frictional and seasonal unemployment will always be around.

Which leaves the other two types: cyclical and structural. Cyclical unemployment is a result of inflationary business cycles caused by the Federal Reserve system. So fixing monetary policy as Paul advocates would go a long way towards fixing unemployment.

    Structural unemp. deals w/ edu.

  • Weren't you a Hitlery Clinton supporter? "Free" is not your gig...is it? 'Nuff said.

  • wrong and stupid,

    nuff said.

    blocked

  • inflation causes unemployment genius...under a true gold standard with 100% reserve banking we would be at full employment

  • What will happen to the unemployment rate - as most of the automobile manufacturing sector of the economy goes bankrupt?

    It will go up right?

So what UNEMPLOYMENT RATE is the Shaman, Seer, Prophet Ron Paul predicting if the government does nothing to help struggling industries?

I haven't heard him mention the unemployment at all.

And what does the Prophet-Seer Paul predict for the standard of living for Americans? I don't hear Paul talk about standard of living, wages or unemployment...

  • Do you believe that congress can stop job loss? Their policies create job losses. The government can't and won't stop the job losses. Governments do not, and will not fix the economy. It is going down, get ready. China's unemployment is now at 12% and rising, we may hit 20%. That is going to happen regardless what our socialist government does to intervene. If you haven't figured it out by now that there is only one party, it is time to start studying. Read Tragedy and Hope, by Carrrol Quigley.

  • It is going down, get ready. China's unemployment is now at 12% and rising, we may hit 20%. That is going to happen regardless what our socialist government does to intervene.

    @@@@

    Did Ron Paul mention this???

Do you know what happens - sometimes - when a country has very high unemployment? Fascist and communist alternatives begin to become popular among the people - like pre-war Nazi Germany or famine racked China..

  • Ralphdraw3 sez...

"Do you know what happens - sometimes - when a country has very high unemployment? Fascist and communist alternatives begin to become popular among the people - like pre-war Nazi Germany or famine racked China.."

So true. So why are you promoting socialist programs that are guaranteed to promote unemployment and devalue currency?

  • We already have "socialist" programs -

    Unemployment insurance

    Social Security

    Medicare

FDIC - federally insurance bank deposits

    Public education

  • Very good, you are starting to see the light.

So why would you be against ending the Fed?

Return to Lawful money. The Federal Reserve stranglehold on the economy ensures the public desire and supports the use of such props. So if your so much against Socialism, why do you support these Institutions that ensure the existence of the Socialist Programs?

  • Who care about unemployment rate. The US economy is built like a house of cards. Except our house is falling and it has a fire inside. Our economy is 70 service and maybe 10 to 15% primary (farming, mining, forestry) and our manufacturing or secondary is maybe 15 to 20% of the economy. LISTEN UP the US economy is going to Crash and Burn by 2011. We need a 40 to 50% secondary, a 10 to 20% primary, and a 30 to 40% service economy. UNEMPLOYMENT will reach 15 to 20% by January of 2010.

  • Ron Paul does not mention this imbalance in between the various sectors of our economy. Like "unemployment" and "poverty", Ron Paul doesn't care - put the "free market" on automatic pilot!!! The fact that we have very little manufacturing and thus fewer and fewer jobs that support a middle class wage.

I agree with you - unemployment rate will go up; the standard of living will go down; the middle and lower class will fall farther behind.

And THE RICH will do just fine!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We have NEVER had a Free Market economy since 1913 when the US Federal Reserve Bank (Privately Owned) took over the US Economy. The Fed has a monopolistic control over aggregate money supply and interest rates for banking. Explain how we have free market capitalism when our central bank controls our economy and our federal government? No Mass Media outlet has yet said anything negative against the US Federal Reserve bank, and WHY NOT??? Maybe collusion between monopolistic institutions?

  • Keep up the good fight, Ralphdraw.

  • Ralph, I can't wait for the day that you finally understand where Ron Paul was coming from, and where his supporters were coming from - I keep telling you this, but it seriously isn't about Ron Paul. It's not a cult, hahaha... but that cracks me up. Since when would logical, honest and small government ideas be considered a cult? Sound money not sold out to international banking systems? Cult? LOL! I'll tell ya... one day, Ralph - you'll figure it out. You make me smile! :O)

  • Ron Paul's disregard for workers and unions and unemployed is sadly obvious.

Paul couldn't care less about the "little person".

Ron Paul wants the wealthy to hold on to every last penny and to heck with the rest of us.

  • just the opposite, Ralph - RP recognizes how the 'little person' is screwed over by bad choices of 'big biz' (like the banks/auto industry) and 'big gov' (which gives the little persons money right over to those same entities!) The little person would do a heckuva lot better, not just financially, but in all life areas, if the free market were actually implemented; and work ethics and self esteem would improve, as a bonus. I wish you would read up more on all of this, rather than just debate.

  • No, Ron Paul talks about how workers - union workers - are over-paid.

Do you have a quote FROM RON PAUL talking about over-paid, corporate management. (RP fans - look into the vast library of RP videos and find a quote...) Or golden parachutes and lavish retirement packages (hidden from stock-holders usually)

I don't recall RP saying a thing about AIG's CEO making $300 million over the last 5 years...

  • Socialized medicine in itself is not bad... The waiting in line if they deem you unfit to be treated is bad. Oh, you did not know about that part?

Anywayz, unemployment can only increase under inflation... maybe that is what Ron is getting at? Or maybe he is saying that you need to stop the bleeding before you can heal the wound. What do I know?

  • Since Ron Paul has such disdain for Govt.,why the hell does he remain in Govt? Put your money where your mouth is Ron and resign from Govt.BTW while your at it refuse to take your pension and health benefits that the horrible Govt. provides you.Bet that happens when pigs fly.

  • He does not have a disdain for government, merely for corrupt ones. Ron Paul is as human as the rest of us.

  • blair - Ron Paul doesn't disdain government. He is for small government, as it was meant to be. The responsibiity for everything else was on us - why do we keep giving the responsibility to the government? Also, Ron Paul opts out of the congressional pension plan (has every time he's elected) so he will not receive his retirement on tax dollars. He's that principled! I'm pretty sure he also opts out of any gov/tax funded health insurance. He has strong views that he also applies to himself.

  • disdain for govt founded this country! That is why we separated the powers of government: because we didn't trust the buggers.

  • Then why didn't St.Ron vote for impeachment of Dumbya?Nobody has abused power like this Repugnicunt since Nixon.Oh yeah,St. Ron is a Repugnicunt.
