i jsut moved to the u.s im from the u.k i have family from south africa in texas i go to school in texas now i been in america for about a month or soo
I forgot, I've had it for years now. Originally I had one that cost close to nothing, when they first came out. I didn't know enough about the difference, back then, but later a was working with a chi, liked that better. Someone from up North put me up on the FHI and I was hooked. Like it alot! Lighter then marcels (if carpel tunnel was ever an issue 4 u) heats up faster and remains consistant. If I broke it today, I'd have a new one 2morrow!
It just depends to me. For someone with alot of experience (the licensed pro) I'd say it's a toss up! My personal pref. is the ceramic. For those with very little ex. I'd still go with the 'true' ceramic plated irons. Mainly b/c if you can't guage what is too hot for the hair...then the most important factor is the health of the hair...meaning you can do tremendous damage if you don't know what you are doing. In my personal opinion HEALTH always trumps style!
I like all of your videos!! but i want to know when you compare the two do you have a preference. I think either iron is fine but a lot of stylist are jumping on "cheap ceramic" and the work is not lasting the usual 2 weeks like marcels or until the next shampoo like hot combs. do you see a change in your work ? I see that ceramic is faster but marcels styling last longer. thank you 4 your video.
I prefer the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it works amazing :D

how much did you pay for the FHI? And have you tried any other brands of ceramic flat irons? If so, what did you think of them?
