@animegeek2121 So if android tabs are actually better, then explain why google never sends out the latest software to each and everyone of them. if you realized how fucking fragmented androids phone and tablet software is, you'd realize why people love ipads. explain why 3 out of 4 tablets sold are iPads. explain why googel uses apple's safari engine on all android devices for the web browsing and not google chrome. (i dont even know why they dont).

I'm going into seventh grade and I plan on getting either a laptop (probably Dell) or an iPad. It would probably have to be under $1000. If I was to get an iPad, it would probably be the 64GB version. I like the iPad interface, but I want to be able to type and compose documents and presentations if needed. I don't want to be thinking midway through the year, "Wow, I really should have gotten a laptop. Does anyone have experience using an iPad for middle school? Any advice? Thanks.

@izdadudej as a doctor, i use it as my mp3/ video player, digital photo frame, netflix video player, internet browser, ereader, and it helps me to view patient records and X-rays on the device (more than five lives has been saved using it lol). During seminars, i can record them with the camera, take notes and transfer them instantly between my mac and iPhone, and reader medical books on the iPad and at home my kids use it to play all the games on it. Theres something for everyone, lol

The difference between ipod touch 4 and ipad 2 is of course the bigger screen but also the much faster processor (in ipad 2) and ipad 2 got more RAM.
