So...within the first 10-15 mins. of the movie here's what's going on: 1) Der Waffle Haus is gone

2) There's a new frumpy, less attractive Daisy in an outfit Daisy would never wear 3) Rube's gone

Too much, too soon. Within the first few minutes the fans (especially the ones who had no idea about ANY of the movie changes... some of us *did* already know that Mandy Patinkin wouldn't be appearing), are already bummed out/taken out of 3 major comfort zones of the show. A little jarring.

Real Daisy, whose name is Laura Harris and did an excellent job capturing the essence that was Daisy, in my opinion, was in a contract filming Women's Murder Club when they filmed this movie. Similar with Mand Pantinkin, that's why he "saw his lights" and was replaced with the australian. The new Daisy seems more like an aristocratic bitch than the fun-loving, flirty Daisy Adair from the original show. That's one of the main reasons this movie barely made it out of Canada.
