Keep in mind that the future prices assume large volume and are supported by Billions of dollars granted by the US Gov and DOE via cash Incentives and loans to the Electric Vehicles (GM Tesla Nissan etc..) and Battery manufacturers (A123 GM-LG). Actual cost (without Government subsidies) is probably higher than $1000/KWh, vs published Volume numbers ~$500KW/h (+/-200).
To bad I couldn't be there. I would've liked to ask him about current production plans for the eBox. Last I heard was that they had orders through April 2008.
