  • i haven't played Phantasy Star Universe in over the year but i remember the music well. It was my favorite song from the OST and so is the Ambitions of the Illuminus remix of this song.

It's a good game though the only downside is the monthly payment for the online

  • Thats phantasy star the video is final fantasy but the song and video matches and it is good anywayz.

  • thats phantasy star the video is final fantasy but the song and video matches and it is good anywayz

  • the one person who disliked the song wants to die because he doesn't want to save the world like the rest of us >.>

  • AWESOME!

  • The first part is enchanting i loved it

  • this video is perfect all the scenes go in so well i have all ways been a final fatasy fan and a phatasy star fan they even sound alike lol

  • dude at 0:54 you needed to put cloud and sepheroths fight

  • LOL OMG!!! I find this funny seeing as these two games were competitors back in the day. it would be cool to see them two mix.

  • this the shit

  • Great video, love this song, and yeah... it' s fate instead of fine. Check it. 5 stars ^.-

  • このゲームはとても固めに茹でる(

  • It is a great combination of video and audio. "Save this world" is a great song of positive energy.

  • i think it's fate instead of fine in the line

"So don't say that it''s fine"

  • that was a really good video and it really fit FFVII Advent Children. GOOD JOB!!!!

  • question; if phantasy star had the combat and attack variety of ninja gaiden 2 (minus the gore), and the physics of GTA4 (euphoria, havok, DMM) then would it be the most epic rpg game ever?

  • If it had a plotline similar in scope and epic to Phantasy Star II but fleshed out as well as a modern RPG as well as some decent art direction (preferably Rieko Kodama/Tohru Yoshida of Phantasy Star I, II, IV, and Skies of Arcadia)

Phantasy Star II drew it's inspirations from H.G. Wells and H.P. Lovecraft. PSU draws it's inspiration from cheap kid's anime like Naruto. None of the throwbacks to the old PS storylines carry the significance or weight the originals did. It's cheap crap.

  • yeah lol i meant phantasy star online episode 1 & 2...

  • It doesn't matter. PSO Ep I & II (And Ep III / Blue Burst) had a horrible storyline which wasn't even coherently delivered. They hid it from the player, which considering the nature of the game as multiplayer is both a horridly bad decision and a stroke of brilliance.

Still, the storyline - if you decide to follow it - is bad. Not as bad as PSU's, but still rather schizophrenic in it's coherency and point.

  • I did like the initial end to Ep I leaving the player with Rico's death - although her soul free - and still very much left with the other social and political problems still present, and it's ending song "Can you still see the light" is probably one of my favorites - perfectly summing up the arduous nature of the storylines both classic and contemporary.

  • This is part of why I hate PSU's "Save this world" and the overall tone of the game's story. It turns tragedy into comedy. Phantasy Star has always flirted with the line between the two - and in doing so - has given the players a fantasy that feels a bit like reality.

PSU, and to a lesser degree PSO, has turned tragedy into comedy - and as a consequence has turned the series into a cliche children's anime tripe worth little merit.

  • I don't like "Can you still see the light". It is a depressing song. "Save this world" on the other hand is full of spirit and so inspirational!

  • Wow, someone's on their INTERNET HIGH HORSE today! How's the weather up there?

    Pretentious, I bet.

  • hahahahaha

  • uh huh. you certainly drive a point home...

  • This was an AMAZING video.

    Why?

    1. Just because it was.

    2. Final Fantasy VII is FREAKIN AWESOME!

    3. Phantasy Star is pretty cool, and even if the song sounds like a bad opening to a 4kids anime, its still awesome.

Nice job! 100/5 stars! *faves and subscribes*

  • you are officially an insperation to me. great vid!

  • dude ... this is a great video and good choice on getting the game it was awsome i just beat the son of a bitch

  • whats the anime at the beggining?

  • It's called Final Fantasy VII Last Order

  • no it aint is it :/

  • Actually it is >.>

  • is it :/ i got told was sumit else

  • yeah, people used to have Crisis Core and Last Order mixed up A LOT- but its the other way around.

    PSP game- Crisis Core

    OVA- Last Order

  • Final Fantasy VII: Last Order. It comes on the second disk of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Childern Limited Edition Collector's Set (NOT the two disk special edition)

  • thn no wonder i dint no lol i watched advent children online was well good XD

  • you now lattley ive seen some rubish vids on you tube but you have made my week worth it this rocks thanks for this ;):);):)

  • Yeah I noticed that too. In the lyrics it says that but the song says something familiar to "Fate" soooo.....thats something they sang wrong on that wasn't in the lyrics, or they just.....didn't type it right.

  • I'm sorry for sounding a bit like a perfectionist, but the second verse says "so don't say that it's fate" and not "so don't say that it's fine."

The video is also very good, even if you call yourself a beginner.

  • i see you like to us AC in a lot of your videos. sweet. i envy you

  • Heh, there's no reason to... I'm just a beginner.

  • beginner or not you are good.

  • this song rock. dude you r the best!!!!!!

  • Thanks. It's good to know someone appreciates it. Not many of my friends play Phantasy Star.

  • i have the game. i play all the time. all my characters are atlevel 90.

  • who sings this f-ing song!

  • Music by: Hideaki Kobayashi

    Arranged by: Hideaki Kobayashi

    Lyrics by: Kan Hashimoto

    Performed by: Kelli Sae

  • What made this video really hard to make is that the song couldn't stick to the timeline... It kept on falling behind. So it took me over 8-9 hours to make. It was a real pain, but it worked out nicely.

  • That was really pretty...my favorite parts were around 2:00. I hope your brother likes it. I haven't played PSU yet. I do like the song though, and it really works for FF7. 5 stars for you!!

  • I just got word from my brother. He actually likes it. YAY!!!!
