@TeamVVV Not quite. Lucid Games is a phoenix developer that was born out of the ashes of Bizarre Creations. Lucid might actually be the developer on PGR5, so it wouldn't be an "out there" statement to say it's being developed by Bizarre Creations.

Forza 5... perhaps why we get relatively little in the way of significant development on FM4 except for things that the 360 can't quite do? Autovista, IBL, the ever-improving physics model... all these things strike me as a tech demo for Forza 5, next-gen and less than 2 years away. Thoughts?

GRID had horrible physics. It was a reasonably fun game, but I just don't see why they don't go back to the TOCA/Race Driver series. It was SO much better

It's too bad Bizarre Creations wont be on board for PGR5. They were masters @ environments. Ever go into photo mode (PGR4)& just look @ the buildings? The detail in places where most people wouldn't even look, is incredible.

YES! Finally! Grid 2! The DiRT games are all very well and good but I'm more interesting in Grid. I've been waiting so long for a sequel! And I wonder who is developing PGR5. Maybe Turn10? Apparently they shared a lot of assets with Bizarre creations and the PGR series, including employees. Or maybe that studio that some of the ex-Bizarre Creations employees started up, Lucid Games. And it seems Slightly Mad Studios have been very busy lately! Never seen that game before.

Grid 2? Interesting, but knowing the fact that nowadays the games are getting worse and worse, it's probably gonna be a good looking game, but only with around half of the content that Grid 1 had, just like Dirt 3 had only around half of the content that Dirt 1 had (at least in terms of tracks and courses).

@TeamVVV Yeah. Codemasters usually improves game after game. It went down from Colin McRae 2 to 3 and Dirt 1. But Dirt 3 is much better than 1 and 2. Grid is a very special game for me. I really loved Toca Race Driver 3. Grid is a good game but I thought it felt like a stripped down version of TRD3, with less car disciplines, less tracks, less variety, and weird car handling. Grid 1 was a good game, Grid 2 would be nice but I think Toca Race Driver 4 would be even better.

PGR is one of my favorite game series, looking forward to playing PGR5.

@iiSLiPKnOTxD It would be nice to have a classic F1 game, but I doubt they will to be honest. I agree that the graphics weren't that good, but they had to find a way to make DRS and K.E.R.S. work, plus adding the safety car amongst other things. Hopefully this year, they will work on the graphics engine, and making the safety car work more effectively :)

I remember rumours floating around after Bizarre were bought by Activision that MS was going to give the PGR franchise to Turn 10.

There's no-one else they could give it to really. I hope that it's true, then I hope that the resulting game is good enough to live up to Bizarre's very high standard, PGR4 is one of my all-time favourite racing games. MSR is defiantly in the Top 10.
