  • i'v just purchased a honda prelude a week ago with an engine no h22a8 red top, don't know to much about them, is this one of the better engines cos it goes like a rocket!!!

  • They have the accord type r in mexico i seen them back when i was on vacation.

  • reacaro seats?? damnn

  • man if only they made japans type R version of the h22a.. it would have been a BEAST!

  • There is a type r version in japan and uk

  • no.. theres only a type s. euro R is called euro R because its made in europe.. theres no such thing as an h22a type R

  • type in honda accord type r in google or even utube

  • duh.. its an accord euro R.. but its not called an accord type R.. I know all about h22a motors.. theres a type S, a Euro R, and a standard black valve cover one.. the Euro R is the most powerful.. Its manifold does not come with the IAB sensor and the header is different.

  • There is an Accord type R ive seen a few myself in person.

  • okay the title of this video is called Euro R not type R.. second I said if only they made a japanse version of a Type R.. and third in japan there is only a h22a type S theres no such thing as a h22a type R.. that would be a Euro R and the engine code would be h22a7 which means its not japanese.. ITS A EURO R

  • I know this is the euro R but you telling me theres no such thing as a Accord Type-R?

  • maybe your thinking about a CL7.. that is a honda accord with a k20a motor.. those have type R motors in them from japan.. and are called type R.. this however is not a CL7.. it comes with an h22a euro R motor.. the h22a type S motor can be found in the preludes

  • im going to send u a pm

  • sent you back a pm.. read the whole article that you sent me carefully.. it tells you where its only made at for that "type R" version

  • Ok you lost me now but all i do know is in where in live (in uk) we get the accord type r with a H22 engine.

  • Euro-R is made in Jap for JDM, based off the european Accord type-R.

    End of story.

  • so, that doesnt mean anything.. Im not arguing that honda wasnt made in japan, Im arguing that they never made a type R model for the prelude and only in the accord euro R hence the name euro. That is where the engine originated from. An accord.. The type S or h22a type S is not as poweful as the Euro R hence the name type S. The argument was if they made a prelude type R which they never did. end of story

  • Shit i thought you ment they never made an accord type R, which they did, in england. But if your talking about prelude then yea agreed, though itd be good if they had :D I used to own a prelude now got my Euro-R. Didnt know the engine was made in europe though thats cool.

  • and your wrong.. the h22a type S was made in Jap for the Japanese domestic market BASED off the european accord type R motor the h22a euro R or h22a7. As you already know theres no h22a with a red top and high flowing manifold as powerful as the h22a7. The number 7 states that it was made in Europe. The only motors that you will find with a red top and almost similar qualities as the Euro R would be the engine stamped h22a. and not h22a7 otherwise it wouldnt be japanese now would it?

  • No those are the newer ones but the Accord type are uses H22A7.

  • I already said that..

  • okay let me look for a clip where the drift king tests out a Jun prelude and says it himself, "man this motor is great, too bad their isnt a japanese version of the type R" he means an h22a type R

  • You know what type the engine code in google or wikipedia and see what car it matches H22A7

  • dont you understand anything? theres no TYPE R its called a EURO R because its only made in europe.. the most powerful h22 that is close to euro R thats made in japan is called a TYPE S.. look at the engine code h22a7.. jdm motors dont have numbers after the engine stamp therefore its not made in japan... an h22a type s would just be stamped h22a..

  • i just purchased a honda prelude last week (uk) and the engine no is h22a8 red top, is that the last one made? don't know much about them only that is goes like a rocket!!!
